There was near-dead silence in between tracks. After the album ended there was around 30 seconds of solid silence before the guy from Warp came on the PA and thanked everyone for coming. Only then was there an eruption of applause. It was amazing.
You got to see Tomorrow's harvest in the perfect setting, I mean outside of BoC's own design. It is the perfect stage for such an album to be released upon. What an experience this must have been.
Meh, evolved into a more boring set of musicians. Nothing is real is still up there as one of my favourite tracks by them but I would still rather listen to old tracks vol.2 over this any day. Its good for background study music but to me, one of the least interesting albums. And this is coming from someone who has a BOC tattoo and hasnt listened to any other artists more.
I'm so happy to have made something that people enjoy. It's what I want to do with my life, and this is one of the first things I will do that a lot of people will see. I can't believe it. Thank you for being there as well. I look forward to the next time we meet.
it's slowly sinking in the small part that I have played in this. I couldn't be more happy to have helped along with everyone else there. It's such a huge deal for me that it's indescribable. I cant thank Boards of Canada and Warp enough for the opportunity to engage in such a profoundly awesome experience. June 10 here we come.
It's exactly how I imagine a modern BOC concert would be. Back in those old recordings (Lighthouse party, etc), everyone's having conversations and making noise, because they didn't know who they were in the presence of. These days, everyone who would go would be dead silent and respectful, not missing a single detail.
A big thank you Jack for enabling people overseas to enjoying this despite of geographical barriers. I look forward to seeing the other edits once the album is launched. Best wishes from London, UK.
Great video Jack. I especially like what you did with the bridge and the occasional bright flashes of headlights dissolving into the rotating starlit sky. And yes the audio does sound amazing. I'd have to say the best block of songs for me goes from Nothing is Real -> Come to Dust.
this video really captured the magic! I did catch the live broadcast myself but I really enjoyed watching and listening to this video! Cool footage ! Reach for the Dead is amazing
Guys, we only have here first three tracks, while 17 are still waiting for us. :) This thought makes me feel wonderful, thanks dude for sharing your capture in this awesome way. 7 Days. we love you all
thank you. I have more footage but it would have choked my old macbook pro, and I was in a hurry to get this up. I plan on cutting more for fun once the album drops.
Awesome! x I've seen links of this video floating around all day, but your tweet to me was the final nail in the coffin to check it out. Thanks for putting this together!
The audio in my first video was recorded on my iPhone, the audio in this video was recorded with a much better setup, but I only had my phone audio when cutting this and wanted to get something up asap, so I put up the version with my own audio.
I wish! I'm pretty sure they already have Neil Krug for that. He was actually there with a small crew shooting during the listening party. Should have given him my card! >_
Trust me, it was very tempting to do just that. Initially i cut my video to the first four tracks, but realized what I was doing a few hours in an re-cut it to just three. The very last thing I want to do is run afoul of Boards of Canada.
Anyone knows about that PA system ? How did they provide it with electricity ? Probably no noisy petrol generator. Truck batteries in the caravan ? Looking for a battery operated PA system (+ generator for mixer & devices) to play semi-modulars live outdoor, in the wilderness. Not sure about which system is tested enough, to have a detailed sound with all good frequencies & be reliable & quiet.
Love the footage, the timelapse stuff and the over exposed video in places really fits with the mucis, maybe the Sandisons could take you on as their photographer!

This mindboggling cryptic promotional journey of Tomorrow's Harvest ends here. It was surreal.
+Philipp Beck It was positively amazing to be a part of. I will never forget it. Thanks for watching!

This album is where Boards of Canada evolve big time.

They evolved yes... The question is of tomorrow's harvest. Will we?

So, as said by the Warp PA at the beginning, no recording after the end of White Cyclosa, but was the entire album played?
@@MoustiluigiRandom yep, whole album we were quite lucky

Everyone is so well-behaved!

The footage you shot shown during "White Cyclosa" is really great. I've linked this to all my homies. Thank you.

This is awesome
As big of an impact TH has had on me I wish I could've been there with you guys!
Yes. I was at the listening party. They played the entire thing.

Gorgeous visuals and superb sound. Thanks for the hard work putting it together. Much appreciated!
Right in the middle they should have busted out the theme for Close Encounters.

Great work Jack! If the rest of the album is better I am done.
