There's televue, and there's also pentax, nikon, takahashi, masuyama, brandon, khokusai khoki, goto, a few others, and back in the day, meade had a line that rivaled telvue (the original japanese series 4000). Everything else is a chinese copy of the above lines of eyepieces. Nikon HW100 eyepieces take the ethos concept to the next level, and televue delos is televue going for pentax XW specs. Nikon also has a 70 degree line that is like the pentax XW on a higher level. Explore scientific is the same company that originally made meade's chinese made next line of eyepieces, the series 5000 which copied more modern types of naglers and the panoptic. The 4000 series copied the type 1 nagler (uwa) and the televue wide field (swa)
@AstroHelmet-mk2zp I have, they are excellent but super expensive. I used to sell them, we had a Japanese customer that would bring them in for us, since nikon wasn't offering them to the US market at the time. Note that I no longer work there and the ownership and location of that dealer has changed. I haven't been working in the astro industry since 2011
