Great video. I also have TXQ one. Agree w your points. I have mine connected to a small portable battery I can turn off without going round the back. Going forward I know it’s possible to replace the led with led strips that have a remote which can be brighter. Also a slight feet height adjustment at the back of the stand elevated so slightly may show up more light in the display

Myself, I'm a bit on the cheaper side when displaying my hilts, so I crafted my own displays. Allows me to buy more hilts.

I don't think either one is really winning given the cost. The QDC one is hard to really like because those LED setups with the remotes are so cheap and it's hard to feel the prices are justified. But then the TXQ is basically just some lightsaber electronics in a box. And I wouldn't call that an entirely cheap option, either.
Feel like something needs to come out with ESP32 boards to control the LEDs. Cheap and has bluetooth and app support with WLED for LED control. It's like proffie, but way more accessible.
Almost feels overkill but the boards are so cheap. And I feel something like this should be a minimum for anything priced at or over $100.

WARXSABER is working on one with Bluetooth control

@thefrugaljedi that is awesome. Really feel it's a dropped ball not just putting an snv4 pro in the TXQ version.
Cause then you have a bit of an ecosystem going, it's convenient and all.
If warxsaber manages something similar that would be pretty slick.
