    It’s ridiculous how good this is! I genuinely appreciate this advice and I think it’s great! Something about it makes me laugh though. I think because it’s so counter-intuitive that it begins to sound sarcastic, then manipulative. However my guy told me upfront that this is exactly what he does when a woman comes at him very strong and my response was, “Good for you! Not acknowledging behavior that causes you discomfort is a great boundary to set!”. 6 months later I was on the other end of the silent treatment, now I’m rebuilding and this video provides a great skeleton for that conversation! Good thing I ACTUALLY feel this way about the response of walking away - or else I’d come off very fake.

    This is beautiful.
    I too see the spin in this strategy, that in our attempt to "deliver" the magic potion to him, we are in fact doing the necessary work on ourselves to grow to the place where we have what he needs from us, and for us to give that to him. It's truly brilliant.

    We broke up because after happy 3 months together, he changed. I was fed up with luck of communication from his side. Whenever there was a clash between us, I gave him time then tried to talk to him so we could find a solution/compromise but he avoids important discussions. He's always like: "you know I don't like talking about these things". We didn't even argue... to argue, there must be 2 ppl speaking in first place. He shuts down. Silence killed our relation. Also, he never admit to his mistakes and never apologise. We separated in March '20. We finally met end of November. I told him clearly what my expectations are and that I won't accept anything less than that.
    I'm currently in NC, day 56.
    Losing hope he'll be again the great man he once was...

    The comments are so good that I start to read them WHILE the video is playing and then have to rewind the video! Gonna start making it a 2-step process because watching the video while reading... I don’t get the most from the video OR the comments 🤣.
    Love to all the lovers of the 🌎 out there 😘♥️ & thanks to both you ladies!
    I think much of this is about so-called “active” codependency (Ross Rossenburg) and though he describes it as manipulative (which for sure some codependents are)... others like myself are just direct and honest but going about it in a way that to men feels combative and controlling, even if we are just fighting for our rights! Rights like equal respect, consideration and concessions. So MANY problems truly ARE caused by the wrongful entitlements & double standards/double binds of sexism & I hope you both can talk about this TOO!
    I’m coming to understand lots of things from both of your channels, but I don’t think we can push the sexism hit aside. Even men who are less sexist on the spectrum have internalized inequality/wrongful entitlement and I do believe denying this comes at our own peril. You might be able to “manage” a sexist, but you will never get equal respect from a sexist. Ever. So it’s important to be with men who strive for equality-equal respect for both the water (classically & sexistly called feminine) and the wood (classically and sexistly called masculine) in each other and ourselves. I happen to be a high water💧 woman and the day both energies are given their equal and essential due as well as exposing the toxic potentialities of both, we’ll have a BEAUTIFUL WORLD! Males & Females~Females & Males= HUMANITY There is polarity within EACH of us as well 🥰 meaning that my water energy, since I have SO MUCH of it, NEEDS MY OWN WOOD for structure too! And it’s why, in my case, I’m attracted to HEALTHY wood men who carry a HIGH RESPECT and attraction for water energy.
    Example: if you’re 60% water & 40% wood... your match will probably be in the same stats in the opposite
    Gender is literally the sexist construct of sexism. It says THIS way of being belongs in THESE bodies and this does not. Absolute toxic RUBBISH. And it can prevent females from appreciating their water
    :( and developing their wood energy in constructive ways :( and prevents men from embracing their water :( and from developing wood in healthy ways. I’m here for the DAY when the words MASCULINE & FEMININE are abolished! When we do wood things in a healthy, beneficial way~ we are STILL ALL GIRL! Just as when men do water things, like cry to a beautiful song, they are STILL ALL BOY!
    Hard to edit on iPhone~ so will leave at that!
    Love to the LOVERS, Wood & Water Babies! ♥️

      @AdrienneEverheart 5 лет назад +2

      ana Mont without specifics I can’t help you too far but in most cases when a person hurts you it’s because they are not doing something we would rather them be doing. That’s almost every guy in every situation! The nature of relationships. 😂 So I would look at your situation and see if that person is actually causing you physical harm or if you’re making that judgment that you’re being hurt and what you can do to shift your mindset onto a more positive track and see if that problem keeps happening less.

    My husband and I have been separated for 2 months we have a very deep deep connection and the last few weeks he's been gravitating towards me wanting to go for walks we've been very playful with each other and when he wanted to separate I did tell him I will miss you I will miss us but you know what's best and so we've been spending time together for a few weeks and she has spent some time in the house and he said that he just has flashbacks of a time where I was pushing him away and saying you don't belong here I don't love you go back to your country and so he just said he has a hard time with it being in the house is hard for him and so for that reason he's not sure he can stay in a relationship with me he wants me to be happy and so I don't really know how to erase those memories for him I don't know how to change thhis around😞😞💟🙏

      @HelenaHartCoaching  3 года назад +4

      It might just take some time to create a new dynamic with him. Rehashing the past or telling him that things are different now over and over usually doesn’t help - he has to FEEL it from you. 💜

    • @suziqsnow
      @suziqsnow 3 года назад +1

      @@HelenaHartCoaching yes I concur actions speak way louder than words! And by reiterating the lessons that I've learned and constantly defending and explaining myself on that basis only further breathe life into the hurtful damaging words that we exchanged . It's clear that he feels I caused most of the damage with my choice of words. Perhaps I did! I appreciate your advice I will stop explaining myself . What is a good blanket statement each time that he brings this up? clearly he's looking for sympathy over and over and over again! I suspect that this could be deep rooted in the childhood post trauma of some kind!

    • @HelenaHartCoaching
      @HelenaHartCoaching  3 года назад +2

      If he keeps bringing it up you could ask if there’s something specific he needs from you (something you could do or say, or perhaps just listen and hold space). If there’s not you can say that it doesn’t feel good to keep talking about the past, and you’d like to focus on creating good-feeling moments with him in the present.

I said ok, and then apologized for the way things went. He no showed Monday or Tuesday but called me last night and said he apologized for not making it home but he is experiencing car issues, then said I dont think I can do this anymore. Should I tell him this after he seems persistent about the breakup? His very hurt and still loves me but his hurt by my words and said he prefers to be friends for now ... so should I give him space and later implement this tool?

    He said we don't have enough in common but I thought we did, so I really believe it boils down to something else. He got hot and cold and told me that finally and basically felt like broke up with me. What would you do in that situation?

    • @HelenaHartCoaching
      @HelenaHartCoaching  2 года назад +2

      Personally, I would move on - I wouldn’t try to “convince” someone to be with me. That being said, this video might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/EFjOGdW_c60/видео.html

      Thank you. I'm not even really sure that he ended it but I haven't heard from him and could also see where he may have thought that I did but I'm definitely not going to convince a guy to stay with me if he doesnt want to. It's a long story. Guess I will just try the no contact. I feel as if there's unfinished business but who knows.

      Sorry to hear you’re going through this right now. This doesn’t sound like a good situation, in my opinion. He needs to be at least somewhat open to you in order for it to work.

    How about when the guy of a few years, had huge insecurities and self-esteem issues, that led to a lot of testosterone fight or flight.... anger/ & control... that led to the breakup? I could never compliment him enough when I did genuinely at dozens of times a day. If I stared lovingly in his eyes for 10 minutes, but then turned around to watch the TV, that wasn't enough. I could describe more things that were ridiculous:( And I just didn't think that anger was the appropriate way to deal with everything. BUT he honestly is an AMAZING guy with a heart of GOLD who is one of the most masculine loving selfless men I've ever met, at times. I've focused on that and speak to him about his GOODNESS. (Although sometimes mention the anger). He just has terrible self worth issues and thinks anger is the way to be heard, even when I say it's so much easier to hear you/ help make this better, if I feel a calmness. I know he still loves me and does the best way he knows how. Can I embrace his seemingly bottomless pit of anger/ testosterone? His over-sensitivity? How? Thanks so much! :)

      Hi there sounds like you’ve had such a tough time. Sending you lots of hugs. Anger can be an issue with a lot of men and sometimes it’s not so much the anger but something that is escalating it. This is where you want to observe what is being said or what you might be trying to do in those times. In affect trying to fix it. I really recommend Find and keep the one in the dating Unzipped collection it can be found here. goo.gl/A6L7SW It will help you immensely.

      Good question! You want him to reach out to you first, then after a few rounds of text let him know a phone call would feel lovely, and use your script. Let the man be the one to take action instead of you doing the work for him. :-) Learn more about how this all works here: goo.gl/XLTZkp

He broke up with me almost three months ago but, when he did, he said he loves me, it was real, he wants to revisit, what if we are meant to be just not right now, I need to work on some things (I got in my head). Did you and your boyfriend get back together? I hope so!
