I had an 89 Camry that had 350k miles on it when the odometer and speedometer broke. I drove it for another couple years after that before the engine died.
That National Park Jim mentions sounds like what Arn Anderson was talking about recently when he was relaying a story about getting a flat in the middle of a forest at night, and the WWE referees he was following refused to come help him right away...

I’ve had dudes offer me cash for it cuz they love it but I’ve refused to sell it. It’s paid for, it’s cheap to operate and maintain, cheap to have it covered by insurance, and it runs like new. So why the hell would I want to get rid of it? It’ll probably outlive me. I’ll pass it on to my daughter lol

With the southern accent it's definitely a Hank Hill type thing I have never heard Jim sound that much like Hank Hill in my life but now I can't on here that. Mike Judge did base the character of Tom Anderson/Hank Hill off of all the older Southern men he grew up around. And although Jim Cornette is about the same age as Mike Judge Jim sounded like Hank Hill when he said that and I honestly think it's just an older southern thing
