The length depends on the plot and everything that happens. A good example is the Harry Potter books because the first few are like 300ish because not as much happens but like 4-6 are all like 800-900iah because a lot more happens in the plot. 7 has more plot but since they aren’t at hogwarts there is less downtime between major events
