Got this in trials currently to see if its going to applicable as a service and i can only say im impressed from the get go definetly has the wow factor being carpro through and through kills me to say it but got to give credit where its due
Cancoat can be a real money maker for professional detailers, especially for new detailers or mobile detailers that want to add on a added service which customers will absolutely love. It still needs to be applied sort of like a coating and in the shade or a garage and you need to be vigilant about wiping it off real well, but its a very easy coating to apply and remove (effortless really), and if you coupled your decon/prep stage to a great touchless pre-wash like Chem-X Stars and Stripes or Wash Chems Pro-50 (or equivalent), it does an excellent job of removing about 80% of whatever is on the vehicle, then follow with P&S Crystal Wash (contaminant & iron remover) through a second touchless stage, then finally a mitt/bucket wash with a clay mitt and you'll be ready to apply Cancoat with good effect and it's a pretty efficient process and those two products coupled together (Stars and Stripes Touchless system followed by P&S Crystal Wash) is a very efficient way to get almost all of the contaminants removed with very little physical contact with the paint other than that final mitt wash with a clay mitt. I just use the clay mitt as my regular mitt in either a decontamination soap (High acidic value or high PH value), or a regular soap but I normally use a strong soap like Feynlab Pure or something else really strong, sometimes even just using a strong degreaser as my soap as it foams up fantastic, couples well with the clay mitt, and just does that one extra cleaning step ensuring the panel is squeaky clean. I don't use a prep normally by that stage because the panels are pretty clean and degreased already but anyone who wanted to do that additional step before applying CanCoat certainly could to ensure bonding but probably not needed to get great results as long as nothing was used in the drying stage except a dry towel or a blow dry system. CanCoat provides the same durability as some of the lower end Ceramic Coatings such as the one and two year coatings. And if you use the good quality ceramic spray from Gyeon as your weekly or bi-weekly topper, CanCoat could easily give you the same durability as those lower end coatings. Even folks who take their vehicles to the automatic wash and scratch car washes can get decent durability with CanCoat and even if they use those car washes, when they get home, or just after the wash, when still slightly wet, quickly wipe kit down with Gyeon Ceramic Spray and you'll extend the great hydrophobics for an extended period of time. Or, when the vehicle comes back to a detailer for a wash, wipe down the vehicle with Gyeon Ceramic Spray coating and your customer is good for another couple months or next time they show up. It's a really winning combination for any pro or home enthusiast. Any enthusiast on the fence about trying a ceramic coating should try Gyeon CanCoat first. One of the only things you REALLY need to watch out for is overspray which can occur, especially if you are outdoors in the wind or near a fan inside a garage or air vent. You want still air, indoors if possible, and spray the coating into your applicator directly, not on the panel. It's no big deal at all, but you just have to remember to point the bottle away from the vehicle and spritz the product right into your applicator. I love using those Autofiber "saver" thin applicators that don't soak up the product as bad as a foam applicator or microfiber cloth. Just follow the simple prep stag, and then the directions on the packaging for installation and you'll have a great experience with CanCoat and you'll probably never go back to a wax or sealant. The gloss and hydrophobics are some of the best of ANY wax, sealant, or coating, and the thing I oe about CanCoat is that you can use it on EVERYTHING on the exterior of your vehicle including the rims, plastics, glass, and other surfaces. Not many waxes or coatings can say that, which is why CanCoat is such a versatile product. For fleet vehicles you want to keep in great shape for many years to come, this is definitely the product for you, either if you have a person who cleans your fleet or if you have a pro-detailing business do it. It's such a durable option for anyone as a durable winter protection for your vehicles. I also love the fact it's an easy way to ceramic coat rims, even if you don't remove them, because you can easily apply the product to the face of the wheel without removal. You can even reach in behind on some rim types to allow complete coverage behind the face into the barrel. Also a great preserver/restorer for plastic wheel arches (not the cloth ones) and provides excellent darkening effects and lasts a long time and are quickly cleaned with a wash brush. Gyeon's most versatile (and one of the glossiest) coating!
@GYEON_official iv done around 8 cars in teating different conditions for various factors in my findings where nothing but fantastic the only constructive compliment would be the standard method of applying it gave better results in torture testing although overall this is a great product and it's definetly leading me down a path of gyeon now Take care guys/girls
I put CanCoat Evo on my wife's car... aka "the spousal transport unit". I use a topper once a month and it still sheds water like a duck! Did I mention that it has been on the "the spousal transport unit" for over 2 years?
Thanks for the feedback. As I have mentioned many times, Q²CanCoat is a beast when it’s applied on a well prepared surface. Give it a try on plastics and side windows as well. You might be even more impressed 😉. Regards, Y.
Absolutely NOT! It’s a true ceramic coating, not a spray on, rinse off product. Have a look here: ruclips.net/video/5nfX4HCYq84/видео.htmlsi=QTmdu5429XblVaR8 Regards, Y.
Two questions. Does can coat have any uv protection? Can it be used on headlights? ie: will it stand up to heat from the headlights, and the thermal expansion and contraction of the polycarbonate lens.
@@GYEON_official Is there anything that can be used over a just applied ceramic coating to provide protection from the elements while the coating underneath cures? Sort of like a sacrificial top coat. Because I would like the client to be able to drive off in the rain shortly after restoring their headlights.
I will never use this just because it aerosolized, a ceramic is dangerous to breath in, I have no idea why it does not have a dropper like tac moonlight !? also gyeon uses fluorine in its wax which needs special safety care to use
One of the best "easy" coatings on the market today! Anyone can do it and will get AMAZING water and chemical repellency. Especially great on rims!
Couldn't agree more!

It’s probably the most underrated product in the whole line up. Try it on plastics, glass and wheels and you might be even more impressed.

Hello Gyeon team, I’d like to know about Can Coats maintenance, can I use Cure or do you recommend another product to top it?
Q²M Cure is great. Also Q²M CeramicDetailer can’t be missed. Both great choices.
Regards,
Y.

Is this something you can use after a wash, like without clay barring and polishing. Like ur wet coat in a sense
Absolutely NOT! It’s a true ceramic coating, not a spray on, rinse off product.

For outdoor application can i use ceramic detailer right after application?
I advise to wait at least 4h after your coating application before you apply Q²M CeramicDetailer.

Yes on all the questions. 😁

Sort of like a sacrificial top coat.
Because I would like the client to be able to drive off in the rain shortly after restoring their headlights.
Q²M Cure is the answer ☝️
@@GYEON_officialare we supposed to top off the coating with cure 1 hour after application or 12 hours?
The day after the application is the better choice.

I read someones comment that he use this on detail block and use a pipet to have better application
It’s an option to use it that way to avoid potential overspray when you are not careful.

How long should the car not get wet?
We advise to keep the car dry for at least 12 hours but the longer, the better.
