This short video pointed out many different diagnoses for neck injuries and how they are examined. It was interesting to see what role certain neck injuries have on the rest of the body. The way the physician explained it showed the connection between the neck and the body as a whole.

I liked seeing how different systems are so interconnected (like the trapezius muscle in the musculoskeletal system and the neck). I think it's very easy to see everything as separate entities or systems, but it's really important to try to view everything together.

I was surprised that there were so many different systems connected within the neck. I have definitely had my thyroid palpated before, but I never realized the physician was also assessing my trapezius.

This area is connected to so many other systems. If there is a tracheal deviation, will the Physician tell us the cause?

Would the thyroid be apart of endocrine system? I enjoyed this section as it touched on some of the other systems.

Since it is obvious to the eye when tracheal deviation occurs, if there is no indication of trauma, besides a pneumothorax, are there any other instances in which this can occur?

Is there any other way to diagnose a tracheal deviation? Also, is palpitations the final verdict when diagnosing a tracheal deviation or are there more steps to confirm the diagnosis?

This video checked out the thyroid and tracheal areas. Can the doctor tell just by feeling the external part of the neck if the trachea is swollen or deviated? Or do they need to do an internal check?

It seems like a lot of the neck has to due with other systems
