Very cool to see you listening to Red Vox! If you wanna give another one of their songs a go, I highly recommend Stranded. Its a much longer, more psychedelic track that I think you'll really like!
It's fiiine-ish. But being an avid watcher of 2 members' game streaming careers, which is their main full time thing, this feels very gimmicky. Like Vinny is trying to force himself to be something he's not. Like successful V-tubers doing music, it's just a side gig being fueled by the clout of their successful streaming career and it makes most of their music come across as very soulless. 😔
I completely disagree, I don't think they're forcing this at all. Vinny's been a musician since the early 2000's. Vinny never really pushes it onto people to listen to it, he's just like "yeah, new Red Vox, listen if you want to.". He's pretty humble about it, I'd say. I'm pretty sure his first few uploads are his old band Davy's Grey playing Pink Floyd covers.
Idk, I digged the track…plus im trying to make a career outta of my own music and streaming games…so seeing this be successful and you telling me the band members are big game streamers gives me hope for my dreams
bro you have got to be trolling, this man has been making music for like 15 years at this point, long before he started streaming. He's not forcing anything, it's just a passion project for him lol
Vinny was making music way before he got into streaming. Like the first upload on his channel is him playing a song with his old band. It’s ok if it’s not your thing but like you’re making a lot of wrong assumptions.
Glad to see you liked it! Red Vox is a band from Staten Island, New York City that started because the lead vocalist/guitarist found out about Tame Impala and it made him want to start making music again. Also, both the frontman and the drummer are RUclipsrs/Twitch streamers, Vinny Vinesauce and Jabroni Mike respectively. Despite this, they're not doing music because they got big, they're doing music as a hobby, because it's fun. They barely even push it onto people to listen, they're just like "yeah there's a new Red Vox song, thanks for listening if you did". They're very humble. I'd suggest "Stranded" fir anither Red Vix dong, its a lot longer, and its the cloesest they've gotten to making prog. (Also, my username is "PizzaRella YT", the "YT" being "RUclips". Just Pizza's fine though!)
I just replied to another comment that hearing that these dudes are also big streamers gives me hope in me making a career outta of it too…I love writing/making and listening to music and I have so much fun streaming/making episodes of games as well
There's a couple more things I'd like to mention about these guys. Their frontman Vinny ("Vinesauce" online) plays copyrighted music during his "be right back" sections on stream (he streams on Twitch, and uploads the BRB section on RUclips without the music). Red Vox doesn't give out copyright claims since Vinny knows how annoying it is to deal with all that. And secondly, they've only played 2 live shows their whole career so far, and only 1 of them was recorded fully (on a cellphone). They have been talking about practicing for possible live shows in the future the past year, but no promises.
@pizzarellayt I was at their very first live show and filmed every song. I uploaded them to RUclips. The band dealt with A LOT of technical issues that night and Vinny was a bit upset about it and felt it was a bad show (it wasn't that bad), he privately messaged me and asked me to private them or take them down, he didn't want what he thought was a bad show uploaded online, so out of respect I privated the videos. So BOTH shows were recorded in full, but I think I'm actually the only person who has their first show at all.
Wow. was not expecting to see vinny on this channel
red vocks!!!!! :D
oh i completely missed this
Holy shit, didn't expect this at all. Very cool to see bing bing wahoo man and the jabronis' band on this channel.

This made me smile :) I love Red Vox
Glad you liked it :)
Very cool reaction!
I did not see this Vinesauce crossover happening

@@chesterfieldsnapdrag that's really cool! I know their 2nd show is still up, but it's really cool that you have it recorded!
