Tsukuba Machine Check! - Under Suzuki's Carbon Widebody S15 Silvia

- Under has finally returned to Tsukuba! After visiting Scorch Racing last year to see the S15 in it's final stages of build, I was looking forward to getting to see it on track this season. With that being said, we still haven't seen it actually on track...
We've seen the carbon Silvia out at TC2000 twice now, but unfortunately both times Under has ran into engine trouble. The first outing a faulty fuel pump cut the day short, and this most recent event the engine may have thrown a piston. The engine in the car is the same one previously used at Sydney some years ago, however it was pulled apart and the crankshaft was replaced. Pistons and con rods were all reused, and may be the culprit.
Under is in good spirits, however, and understands all too well the need to learn from the setbacks. The car is back at Scorch and no doubt we'll see him back out soon.

There isn't a single time attack car that I love more than Under Suzuki's S15. Great to see its current form! Also fun seeing Feras Qartoumy and his Vette in the background.

The dedication, time and money they put in this kind of monsters, they know what they want and will do anything to get it. That car is physical proof of that, it's purpose built SPECIFICALLY for time attack, nothing else and I love it

I cannot wait for him to ring its neck, especially when he decides to put it on slicks. This car has soooo much potential, I know he wants to extend his Tsukuba record but I can’t imagine this thing going through sector 1 at Suzuka❤ Love Under Suzuki so much, he’s doing the things I wish I could. ☺️

sometimes I feel like the SR20 is the Achilles heel for Under Suzuki, can't remember how many times he had to rebuild the engine throughout his career. The all carbon look actually is better than the Advan livery he usually runs imho, hope he gets the car up and running soon!😊

What an incredible journey its been so far from when this was a stock yellow AR2 S15 (unless I'm finally going crazy and it was a different colour)
