    I confess. I was one who didn't want Freeze anywhere near our program. I didn't doubt his coaching ability. I doubted his morals and ethics. I didn't think he should be leading young men. He won me over with his acceptance speech when he was introduced as head coach. He was humble and contrite. I believe in redemption. I'm a product of it! WAR EAGLE!!

      He hasn't won me over yet and I still can't trust him with the program yet but it was not about his ability. I have to see a clean program for a few years before I can begin to trust him. The problem is if he makes some bad decisions(he is known for making them) it's the University that suffers the consequences while he gets another million-dollar contract at Liberty again.

      I think you're hesitancy was understandable. I too believed in Hugh's coaching abilities. Also believed in his redemption. Still do. I believe in that because I too am redeemed. The world will never accept his redemption. Nor is it needed. The redemption Hugh needed he has! War Eagle!

    That 2014 class was ranked 6th in the country, but man, it’s depressing to look at all the names that didn’t pan out…

      Gus couldn't evaluate talent any better than some Cheeto finger stained Rivals employee...so he chased stars instead of actual, real talent.

    Pickens was a done deal to Auburn but couldn't qualify academically. Gus wasn't able to get the admin at AU to cheat the system. Kirby had more success getting UGA to blur the ethical lines.

    I don't doubt his coaching ability, but he could get a million 5 stars, and it doesn't negate his ethical behaviors and pattern of lying and cheating to win, in addition to his off the field shenanigans. Can you imagine any other person getting a new job making 6 million dollars a year after the stunts he pulled? I just hope he isn't doing the same shady stuff he did before.

      LMAO. Every coach in NCAA has cheated to win. GTF off the high horse. Also, doesn't mean people can;t change. I wanted Brother Hugh after Gus and JABA happened. CHF will have a statue at AU. Book it

    • @dwaynelyles75
      @dwaynelyles75 Год назад +6

      I had no idea that Jesus Christ was an Auburn Fan, oh you are not Jesus Christ. Then you have no authority to Judge CHF and who he is today. Look in the Mirror my friend before casting aspersions on others.

    • @xbertx
      @xbertx Год назад

      @dwaynelyles75 its not judging at all. It's calling out facts. I'm far from Jesus, but it doesn't mean we should be hiring habitual liars and cheaters. It sets a bad example and sends a bad message. Not buying his Jerry Falwell speech either. I'll pull for the team and the players and just hope the coach doesn't get the University in trouble.

      Buddy he's a football coach. If he's not trying to win then why pay him? Morals and ethics are very subjective. Also if he didn't do something nefarious to you, why are you still mad if the real victims have let it go?
