I don’t think the shiratorizawa coach and players are rude, or not used to playing hard. I think they are confident in their skills, have put in the work and effort to get that good and they know they are good. It’s a winning mentality. The coach says “you’ll win cause you are you”. Basically saying, the players know the effort they’ve put in, they know their talent, and practice never betrays, so the coach is saying you know what you’ve gone through and how good you are. I dont think their mentality has anything to do with it it's just that they have such a high reputation and they r like rlly good team so not much should be said to them when in a game since they alr know what they r doing

P.S. - I enjoy looking for the Gucci Gang song in each episode.🤣
i think the stz coach talks to them like that because they don't really need guidance, they just need to get their asses kicked into gear. they have all the tools they need to win, they just need to be in the right mental state to do it. so when karasuno is scoring points and theyre starting to get like "oh man this might actually be tough" their coach is basically telling them "dont get distracted by their fancy tricks, just play as you always do, get your head out of your ass"
I'm a muslim and left handed, as a kid a lot of teachers and family members tried to have me use my right hand but failed. In Islam, the right hand is used to eat and touch that which is clean, while the left is used for anything dirty. So holding a spoon or a pen in the left hand was detestable. Everyone except my parents yelled at me for it.
It’s not that the coach isn’t used to coaching but when the coach is very hands off during the game is because he believes that he is trained or drilled and practiced enough with his team before the game to prepare them so he doesn’t believe in having to make adjustments he just needs them to stick to the game plan keep nerves calm and trust their training.
This whole season comes down to Tsukki vs Tendou in my mind, lol. Take a back seat, Ushiwaka vs Hinata drama, this season is the BATTLE OF THE TROLLS, and I am 100% here for it! I can't imagine how much it would hurt to hyperextend a pinkie so fast and far that the skin rips... major OUCH!
Fam the camera they showed in the anime costs about $200, 000 a pop. It lets you instantly zoom in and zoom out without losing focus and quality. Perfect for getting crisp close up shots of the players and the ball while being a safe distance from the court. The camera is actually the size of a big DSLR. Most of what you see is the special lens.
Pls don't dislike Tendou he's a very effective mid blocker and I love him tho yea he can be such a weirdo and freaky sometimes but I like that in his personality as well 😊
Friendly reminder, at episode 9 the Voice Actor for Coach Ukai will change, since the previous one passed away, he only managed to record until episode 8.. please pay your condolences, guys
Been waiting for y'all to learn Wakatoshi's backstory. I didn't think the negative superstitions about being left-handed would be a thing outside Asia too. My mom and other relatives are lefties, so is a friend of mine that's half Chinese, half Filipino. She had her left-handedness fixed as a kid by her folks but she could actually use both to write to this day.
I think Ushijimi is used to people like the gangster dude in Ohgiminami or Oikawa from Aoba Jousai. It's either "My skills are weak so we'll lose to Shiratorizawa anyways" or "my skills are strong so I can beat Shiratorizawa". He's not used to "I literally played volleyball for half a year but I'm not going to lose to you". Thing is IMO there isn't any other attitude to have, Hinata doesn't see any other option if he wants to win. Even if you suck if you say "well I suck so I'll lose" you won't play as hard as you can. Hinata is ignoring "common sense" which is super annoying for Ushijima (strong people win, weak people lose is just how things always has been). Really anyone who plays team sports should know that "common sense" and numbers isn't everything. If it is then people won't bother watching sports in the first place.
The risk for doing the synchronize attack is that no one would do block-follow, but the percentage of luring the block is high so do the chance to score, that's why once the synchronize attack is kill-blocked there wouldn't anyone there and it would definitely score for shiratorizawa.
Ushiwaka was very cocky when he said that, but Hinata (and Karasuno at the moment) have no track record. They literally came out of nowhere after 5 years, so saying they will beat the reigning champion and it sounds like an empty threat because they had nothing to back it up. And that’s what he was telling Hinata.
7:47 The coach is used to coaching??......shiratorizawa is a powerhouse and was on a winning streak under that coach......he made that team sorta invincible....
Ushiwaka is not really trying to be an asshole and he doesn't really have ego. He's just blunt and very objective (he's also bad at social skills like Kageyama). He also has confidence that he's the best, that's not the same as having ego. I'm confident I could beat a 3 year old kid in a 1v1 in a basketball match, that's not me having ego, I'm just confident. Ushiwaka is just that good.
Shiratorizawa's coaching is done during practice, during games they just use the time outs to rest a bit and get encouragement, not advice. (which I don't know why that's so hard to grasp for some ppl watching this match).
The coach of shiratorizawa is the example of a coach that only picks the best players he can find and shows them the plays to run. He isn't the type of coach that knows how to coach from a tight situation or god forbid a losing one. That takes real skill and knowledge to do.
The coach doesnt say much cause as said in the previous episodes,he's someone who thinks volleyball should be played straightforwardly.Unlike Karasuno who tries to dominate the game with tricks, teamwork, and strategies,For Shiratorizawa, the coach thinks there's no need for that.He focuses on each members individual strengths and try to hone it from there,no complicated stuff, just if you're strong your in the game,if you're really good at tosses and receives then youre in the team regardless wether or not you fit in the team dynamic
Plus when you have champion mentality like Shiratorizawa, sometimes the only thing you need when down is someone to yell at you to get your shit together. You're a champion, you already know how to execute.
Patreon viewers failing us, not relaying that Ushiwaka isn't pretentious, doesn't have and ego, he's confident in his abilities but that has nothing to do with his perspective on others aside from an almost strict numerical scale. He works meticulously to be the best his results prove it and his analysis on where other players are weak aren't based on what he thinks it's based on actual facts. Because he's so uninspired [mostly because he doesn't have opponents to excite him] he comes off as much more of an asshole but he's cluelessly blunt and analytical when it comes to volleyball. He's almost like Hit in Dragon Ball Super in terms of how he perceives things the "nothing personal it's what it is" type. Also Shiratorizawa's coach has supreme confidence in his team, they've earned his faith, when he says stuff like "just get it back" it's not because he doesn't know what to say it's because they're proven champions, to tell them what to do would undermine his faith in their abilities and their hard work as an entire team. SN: I'm saying this more for the people who will come along and read this. There are moments that are important to the series that you miss if you're not reading social queues from the characters right.
6:55 yea my parents grew up in Soviet Union, my dad is left handed. At school they’d hit his hand with a ruler every time he used his left hand to do anything like write for example. It’s crazy. He still does use his left hand mainly but he can use both hands now.
Except Ushijima is not actively trying to be an asshole either, he just says stuff that's true in his eyes but that's easy to misinterpret into insulting words, bc he's just so blunt.

11:34 "Whattt?!" at the same time lol
I'm a muslim and left handed, as a kid a lot of teachers and family members tried to have me use my right hand but failed. In Islam, the right hand is used to eat and touch that which is clean, while the left is used for anything dirty. So holding a spoon or a pen in the left hand was detestable. Everyone except my parents yelled at me for it.
Sorry that happened to you, I hope things are better now. I’m glad your parents didn’t join in though!
The hate you guys give on Tendo and Yamaguchi is killing me! 😂
NOT THE PUMPED UP KICKS IN THE BACKGROUND I-
This whole season comes down to Tsukki vs Tendou in my mind, lol. Take a back seat, Ushiwaka vs Hinata drama, this season is the BATTLE OF THE TROLLS, and I am 100% here for it!
I can't imagine how much it would hurt to hyperextend a pinkie so fast and far that the skin rips... major OUCH!
Can we just appreciate who ever edits these videos because they never fail to make us laugh.
They overruled that point because it was still out but Tsuki’s finger got hurt meaning Karasuno was the last to touch the ball
7:35 i get why you guys think that they are like that but you will see that that's just how the coach is, he's that type of coach haha
right when I'm about to fall asleep for school tomorrow, this notification comes up🤨👆🏽
same LMFAO im like ight sleep can wait
Me too
honestly
Fam the camera they showed in the anime costs about $200, 000 a pop. It lets you instantly zoom in and zoom out without losing focus and quality. Perfect for getting crisp close up shots of the players and the ball while being a safe distance from the court. The camera is actually the size of a big DSLR. Most of what you see is the special lens.
Pls don't dislike Tendou he's a very effective mid blocker and I love him tho yea he can be such a weirdo and freaky sometimes but I like that in his personality as well 😊
That freakin camera cannon blasting the war hammer titan was jokes. Great job editor-san
Jordan's hall of fame speech is a perfect example of someone with Ushiwaka mentality in real life
*Ushijima is just the fake opponent...Tendou is everyone’s real enemy🤣*
the point wasn't challenged, the line judges said it was in, but the main ref at the net has final say on every call
As a left hander it's easy to understand ushiwaka's past cuz I went thru that lol . In my country using left hand is considered a sign of bad omen
7:40 Sheera what???? That's how coaches really are and it's completely realistic!
That manga panel got me weak 😭
12:36 the animation of ushiwaka is just 🔥🔥🔥
Ushiwaka was very cocky when he said that, but Hinata (and Karasuno at the moment) have no track record. They literally came out of nowhere after 5 years, so saying they will beat the reigning champion and it sounds like an empty threat because they had nothing to back it up. And that’s what he was telling Hinata.
I just realized that roshi had Drip goku in his intro this whole time, truly a man ahead of his time
Your reactions are my FAVOURITE hands down. I literally started this show so I could watch your reactions. :D
Exactly lmao yet they acting like he’s the biggest ass hole
Tendouuuuu is mah spirit animal
They be doing my boy Tendo really dirty.
3:25 YOU DID NOT-😂😂😂BRUH
5:19 yeah?! 💀💀💀
10:56 he likes shonen jump and none of his friends reads it, he's on the hardcore things 😂😂
Damn yall would have been the kids that bullied tendo because his appearance lmao
Lmao I died with the war hammer titan part
“He use to winning not actually coaching”-Sheera
Even tho you know they went to nationals every year somehow he still not a good coach
Shiratorizawa's coaching is done during practice, during games they just use the time outs to rest a bit and get encouragement, not advice. (which I don't know why that's so hard to grasp for some ppl watching this match).
@@laurainathunderstorm I wouldn't exactly call what he does encouragement lmao
8:03 turn up ushiwaka
YOOOOOOO those cross edits LMAO (the fucking YagamGUCCI brrr will ALWAYS get me x') )
I can’t with y’all😂 Dude said he they type of kid to ask if you got games on your phone
that camera straight sent karasuno back into season 2 against mister 2 meter kyojin
Ushiwaka be giving off that jiren strength and attitude
The coach of shiratorizawa is the example of a coach that only picks the best players he can find and shows them the plays to run. He isn't the type of coach that knows how to coach from a tight situation or god forbid a losing one. That takes real skill and knowledge to do.
5:18 Your editor knows their shit 😂😂😂
@02:55
"Suga how you get so fly?"
YEEEEEAAAHHHH?!?!
Your editor is a fool.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
i can literally watch an entire arc ushikawa smashing spikes
*Half way through chip bag from Korra vid* "Guess I'm finishing the chips"
"Read that" bruhhh 😂
You're a champion, you already know how to execute.
i love tendou so much i cant-
I just wanted to put this out there, people help me out and let them know... YOU GOTTA WATCH episode 9 and 10 TOGETHER!
I can't believe Lupa-san didn't blame that fucking ref after they overruled that point. Who even are you anymore 😪
That Warhammer Titan ...
Thanks editor-san.
HOLY CRAP! Never thought I would be this early for a YT video ever lol. Sweet, just before I sat down to study!
Anything ushiwaka does as super volleyball player these guys putting hate on him is so funny 😂
It’s crazy. He still does use his left hand mainly but he can use both hands now.
when they laugh at tendo getting bullied. made me cry..😭😭😭 why you do my man like that.
5:19
at this point its a personal attack these edits 😭😂😂
Holy shit that AoT edit had me rolling
They think that Ushiwaka is just an asshole but he cut open Tsuki's finger with a fucking ball. A round object cut skin.
Ushi is big game.
Except Ushijima is not actively trying to be an asshole either, he just says stuff that's true in his eyes but that's easy to misinterpret into insulting words, bc he's just so blunt.
the thing is , if Ushiwaka's a protagonist he's pretty reliable lol
9:17 Yooooo editor is amazing with these edits, Yamaguchi getting his Gucci on every time he shows up on the screen🤣
