I was about to say the same thing… why is this not a big deal? Oh yeah… they’re sharing the stage with Coldplay.
Probably because no one actually sees them. I believe they are graphically digitised and we only visualise them through our screens and not the crowd in reality.
@@othism4326 That's what I thought was happening, but it looks like parts of the crowd actually occlude the holograms in the wider shots. I'm trying to figure out how that would be done live, but I'm drawing a blank. Usually you'd have to roto the live-action elements to mask over CG elements, which takes lots of time and effort; unless if there's some new methods I'm unaware of. Also it looks as though there's accurate reflections on the platforms they're stood on... Real or not, it's impressively done.
