- We are fully settled in and ready for our first full day at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar. The first day of vacation for us is all about establishing our routine, but this time we’re also trying new things like a rum tasting?!? We also had a dinner at the resort’s top restaurant Limbo!

It didn’t occur to me while we were there, but now that you mention it did seem quieter than previous trips. We usually ate on the early side between 8:00-9:00 because we wanted to be sure and be at the beach/pool by 10:00, so we might have missed some of busier times

Did you enjoy your time there. Is the coffee free in the coffee shop.
We loved it and yes the coffee is included in the all inclusive package

Fully agree re: Jamaica resorts - overrated. DR & MX for the best resort life 😊
Glad to hear someone agree! I think most people that like Jamaica haven’t been to the others. I would say it’s probably better for people who venture off property but we never do

I tend to give Gary a little more leeway than most. Obviously you want to win it all but taking the team to the playoffs four straight seasons (six if you count the USL seasons) has to count for something. I think the last few months exposed some squad weaknesses that had been previously covered up by a handful of players overachieving. We’ll see what the front office does to address that
You can stay at Fantasia without kids you just can’t go there unless you are staying there or are top tier privilege. If you can get access you should go to the gourmet a la Carte restaurant, I’ve heard good things.

That I don’t know. I think the latest we stopped in was right before dinner so I’m not sure how much later they stay open after that
How is the construction going?
Esmeralda is completely closed and fenced off. Looks like they’re currently gutting the rooms. Based on the other areas they’ve already renovated it should be really nice when they’re done
I wondered about the big pool near the beach. Is that open yet?
@KarenRepac-dp8oz yes the pools near the beach our open. I think there’s one that’s more on the interior that they have closed right now
Is Privilege Club worth it in terms of overall cost of your stay? We literally just signed up with the lowest tier a day ago but want to be sure we didn't make a bad choice. We've got 2 young kids and love to travel with them. Thanks for your vids!
@@JenJenf33 I think as long as you plan to regularly visit their resorts you will get your money’s worth. We love Bahia and go at least 1-3 times a year between our family, so that has never been a problem for us
