I was fortunate to see Lita's work at the Gallery 238 in Amsterdam, really breath taking, it was quite a moving experience. Natural inspiration. x

beautiful! great artist. Also if her works are "printed canavans" what really matters is the idea, the style and the creation. She can produce a marvellous effect.

WHAT A TRICK….PRINT ON CANVAS : I have studied the "technique " and it is a way of creating what looks like a painting but in fact its only a large print …yes! it is a large PRINT ON CANVAS, then the canvas has a see through resin pored over it to give it texture and then the large image is "blocked out" ..which means the background is covered. Lastly a few paint marks and splashes are splashed about the canvas to give it a hand finished look. This is not painting ! It is a large hand finished Print on canvas. If I bought one of these pieces I would feel cheated as they are sold as original paintings …but they are just large prints of photos of faces ..hence the background is blocked out.

NOT PAINTING : This person who calls herself a painter should be ashamed ….she only paints on top of large printed photos. I saw an exhibition of her stuff and was surprised because its only puts paint on top of large machine printed images ( mostly Faces). This is like big advertisment poster prints with paint worked onto the face to disguise the origional printing process. I worked in a commercial printers studio two years ago and its easy to machine Print this size.

I saw her paint many times. There is no printing involved; it's all pure paint.

yes, it would take a long time to draw and paint, if she did it from scratch. How could you draw anything with such accuracy on such big formats ?
      But she is clever!!!!!
      It looks good !!!!
And she has a good speech to comment on her life and work !!!!
