For task 5
* Measures the length of the tube to be inserted
*Lubricates tip of tube with lignocaine gel
*Inserts the tube into the nostril.
*Flex the neck
*Ask to swallow
*Aspirates contents of the stomach and syringe or push air through syringe and
*auscultate.

Hello
Good attempt but u missed some points
1. U should take first explain the need and the procedure to the patient
2. Take proper informed consent
3. Check which nostril is roomier
4. Then measure the length of the tube to b inserted
5. Lubricate the tube and insert gently by flexing the neck
6. Ask the patient to swallow and check if it is not curling up in mouth
7. Aspirate the content to check if it is properly placed
8. Push air with a syringe and auscultate
9. Discard all the material as per BMW protocol
10. Write procedure notes.
