Thank you! This is the video I didn't know I was looking for, but I feel it changes everything. Really helping me to hear much more deeply. I found the exercise fun and engaging, mostly because it increased slowly in difficulty and you gave great cues as to what to listen for, which made it challenging but also accessible. I could feel the dopamine rush when I would get one right and the persistence to go back over the ones I was having trouble with. I did have to look on my keyboard at times to fully understand what was going on; the visual reference helped. I'll definitely be spending more time with this one until the recognition becomes second nature, and I look forward to engaging with your other videos. I don't think I've ever written a comment on RUclips before, but your teaching really inspired me. Thank you again!

The 3rd & 4th parts challenged me the most. Given how many I got incorrect I would say I maybe got a B. 😒That last part particularly challenged my brain to process the cord in a way I was not accustomed to but once I figured it out I was okay. Thank you Stephanie I will continue to do these exercises. 😁

      Soon!
But just to know exactly what you're looking for -
Are you trying to tell the difference between 9th chords and other kinds of chords, like 7th chords? Or major/minor 9th chords? Let me know.

@@StephanieDouglassMusic differentiating them from other chords would be so much helpful
