Brian , from the ETR nation. We are proud of what you have done on your journey and endeavors . I came out to your place and you and Mrs ETR were such a pleasure to be around! I gleaned a lot from you both in that short time. I even had the pleasure of working for ReRail America and donned a jump suit. Brian , I know you are a God fearing Patriot , that I get to spend eternity with- by our mutual faith in Christ. I met you and Graham @ a meet and greet in Morris , IL. You are a genuine person with a lot of heart and soul. I appreciate - we @the ETR appreciate you and this channel . God Bless America

Brian, your impact is seen right here. According to RUclips, about three hours after posting on a Monday afternoon you had 1890 views and 444 likes. I doubt many "inactive" channels would have been kept in the Subscribe and Notify lists without the respect you gained over the years. That website is also a gem. Tells the story, shows the experience, and the psychological impact of moving cars on the contact page is pure genius. May God continue to bless you and your family in whatever field you serve.

Brian, it is nothing but an honor in being buried at Arlington. Many who served do not get that honor. Dad lived in the Navy barracks at Ft Myer just outside of it in 1967-68. His request was when he died, not to be buried there and to save the spot for someone more deserving. He also did not want his ribbons on his uniform when buried. He was old school and was one of the last ones to graduate from boot camp before the official end of WW II. He even got chewed out one time by his CO for not wearing his WW II Victory ribbon during an inspection because he felt he had not earned it. It wasn't until after he died that I learned of one of his medal that I never saw him wear. It still is classified as to what it actually was for and is only describe by its coded name on his paperwork that came with the medal/ribbon. Such was par for the course in his line of work in the Navy and few know what was being done. For some of his group, the Cold War became very deadly both in the air and on the sea by hostile actions over/on international waters.

Have you sold the business/equipment? If not, is it something you would entertain?

After $8,100.00 in repairs, and new tires, the Hi-Rail logtruck that Brian sold me has just finished it's first tie sorting job on CSX MP-196.1 Fort Plane, NY.
      ETR Will live on 😢.

@@richardbause2453 It's hard for me to read that the equipment is somewhere else. However, it really is a positive thing.

      Yes, it is.
I've met with Brian numerous times and he knew people I knew so when his son departured ETR, I expressed interest in the Hi-Rail logtruck.
He really hadn't had it long, used it a couple of times in clearing the track. It did need some real TLC but it was a good deal. We made the purchase deal in May and I came out to Columbus to pick it up.
Spent more than a month getting it dialed in with repairs and tires.
Still, it's running great with a couple of punch list items but all in all it's in good hands 🙌.
