Maybe it had to do with her loved gifts being difficult to obtain or maybe because to woo her, you need to visit the library everyday which is very far and in a corner of town that may not be flexible to add into the pathing. But agreed. Shes underrated

Not even when when it’s lv4 or lv3. It’s still 9-1. After you wanna get the crop of the center. You have to cut it with sickle to get it :(. I missed the violence towards our animals and they can die. Hold chickens and dog to show those villagers. Wild wolf…

@@ratonhnhaketon9497 Well I saw some other video and apparently its not a meme at least for mineral town. people legit lay out their farm with a opening every 3x3 to get to the middle. But my memory from HM:AWL was i could walk between crop no problem.
I married Celia, I think I only got a bit into year 2 before some reason have to stop playing but very good memory of it. I tried later harvest moon game and idk just didn't have that magic HM:AWL did. Really liked runefactory though.

I miss their old designs so much. Makes me wanna replay Friends of Mineral Town for the GBA but I’d be too perfectionist about it these days
Me too, and I did visit it recently and it honestly still as good as I remember. The designs are still so charming and iconic. Also the gameplay is relatively simpler tbh it’s relaxing. SoS/farming games nowadays are too stressful with too many mechanics, so I think the gba version still stands quite well for me.
@@BlazerT48 God thank you! I try to play newer games and it’s so stressful. There’s so much to do for so little time. I miss when there wasn’t so much so I was forced to relax and take walks to talk to folks. People say I can just take my time but it’s so hard to not try to do everything I can at once.

I 100% get the doctor scene. I was gonna romance my old fav Gray but then I saw the new Doctor art and that was the end.
Also, I was like, 10 when I last played FoMT so I've clearly grown to appreciate more mature guys.

All the story of seasons games I played allow the ability to walk through crops.
When i first see the 9 square field in the beginning i was like,this guy done goofed, then when you can walk through it i was like WHAT IS THIS SOCERRY!
Then there were some HM games that allows walking through crops, but they will get "hurt" and probably give lower quality crops 😆🤧

I fell in love with her at first sight in HM FOMT, she is perfect, cute, inquisitive, sincere and knowledgeable. She is the ONLY character with a wedding dress and a pretty tiara and that's why I chose her. Looking back now, Mary's character design is truly a masterpiece
I haven't touched Mineral Town or More Friends in over a decade, but it's amazing how quickly the memories come flooding back.
I've actually always loved Marie... I just never EVER pursued her because her relationship with one of the other characters was just soo sweet I went "What kind of monster am I breaking up such a sweet couple?"

I may start up a couple extra saves, as in my main game, I'm going after Jennifer; one save will be back to my usual pursuit of Karen, the other...ehh, why not, girl on girl action with Karen (or Jennifer, I am really warming up to her...she seems kinda kinky!!).

I'm not a Harvest Moon veteran by any means (only played island of happiness when I was little) but I've done a lot of research (cause I wanna get into the series), and this was really well done! TWO THUMBS UP.

In the older version of the game, you *can't* walk across the plants once they've grown, which really suck when your watering can is still at lvl 1 (not upgraded yet)
