Fender Super Champ XD Demo - Tweed Bassman Setting

- I recently bought this amp second hand from Ebay and was so impressed with the sounds I plan to do a series of demos. This is the first and I'm going for a Stevie Ray Vaughan vibe on this one. Hope you like it.

I have this amp, just got it. It's incredible! When I got the amp, it was like getting 3 new guitars too, they've never sounded so good!
Currently watching this on a car ride home from vacation. I ordered this amp and it arrived a few days ago. I cannot wait to finally play it when I get home
I’ve changed the preamp tube for a Mesa Boogie Tube Spax 12AX7. O man so much more body and high tones. AMAZING!
I did the same thing only because I couldn’t get the stock preamp tube.. Wow what a difference. I was surprised that the stock preamp tube only lasted one year. And very little use to.. Maybe it was just a bad seed who knows but I’m loving the Mesa Boogie 12 AX7
Love my Super Champ XD! It's like getting a Vox, Bassman, Plexi, Twin, etc...all driven by tubes and giving you a very darn close tone to the original amps. This amp is never going to leave my home, it does it all and the tone is just so, so good. I don't really use the high gain settings since I don't play that kind of music, but they sound pretty cool too. This is not a digital tone, it's tube tone.
This is the Clean Tweed Deluxe Voicing, but really nice lenny playing here! Got my superchamp x2 today, loving it!
Nah, it's correct, on the XD voice #2 is the Bassman.

I know this video is 4 years old but I hope you know you made this young lad happy cause I’ve been looking for that same riff since I heard it back in 1996 when they interview SRV with an acoustic I believe and I could never remember it

lovely touch dave , some say this amp is only hybrid , yet it sounds as warm and tubey as can be here . good advert for the noiseless pick ups too which some people are sniffy about.
I have one and it really is amazing bang for buck. Wide variety of great tones. I ovetcame the difficulty getting low vol with a treble bleed mod on the guitar and turning it down.

Thanks for uploading, showing the control panel and the great playing. It helped me choose this amp which I picked up yesterday. I see you have the gain up and the volume way down (this amp can go loud!) and a small amount of reverb (room); that's very nice on amp setting 2 (Bassman).

I Have the same amp. Very good amp.
That's the tone I expect to hear from single coils. I don't know if Fender is the only guitar that does it, but this is the tone I expect to hear regardless.

best upgrade to make it more incredible is put a ragin cajun speaker in it.
I did that in my Super Champ X2 (the successor to the XD) and it's absolutely massive.
I swapped my ragin Cajun for a Jensen c10r. The Cajun sung sweetly but lacked the high end.

No. Guitar is turned up. The amp is set to a low gain.
Great video great job on Lenny pleasent when the person who's doing product review can actually play like you God so many of these people do product reviews and they're not good players and you have to hear horrible playing to check out the product

That channel actually sounds better than channel 1(The tube one).
Yes channel 2 has more punch and girth, especially with a bit of gain mixed in. In this case, it's a lot of gain -- he has it on 7.

Does the reverb work on the Fender super champ x2 when the effects are turned off, that is, it turns off only when it is muted? That's how it works for me, maybe it's a malfunction?!

Yes, when I bought it there was a crackle. I think I replaced it with a Groove tube.

What is the difference between the XD and X2 anyways?
Honestly don't know. Never tried the X2. They look pretty similar.
X2 has USB connection. Another poster on Johan segborns channel said that.
presets are different. I think that the ones in x2 are programmable but the ones fixed for XD sound better.
