I'm so glad this clip was posted. Look at what a truly horrible human being Victor is, and this was years ago, and where is Nikki today?? Right by his evil side, but Victoria should have turned her feelings off for Ashland immediately after she found out he lied. He didn't bring a drug lord to Genoa City to over Jack's company, or get Tracy's daughter killed, or Stitch's sister killed, he lied. Some things never ever change.
This was a completely different Victor than the one we see today. The things you mentioned were written by Maria Bell and Chuck Pratt, the most plot-driven writers in the show’s history. They nearly destroyed Victor’s character.

My point was that Nikki knows all the terrible things he's done, but she had the nerve to call Ashland a monster. And on Friday and Monday's episodes she at the Abbot house sitting a few feet from Tracy Abbot plotting revenge on Diane. She better be glad that's not the kind of person Tracy is.

He’s not setting up Adam for murder but instead desperately wants him to feel part of the family and company, even after Adam switched Victor’s medication and wanted to blow up Newman Enterprises with everyone inside. He’s not out to destroy Jack but instead he and Jack are civil with one another now, Jack even saved him in 2019. It’s about the writing, it can make or break characters. And unfortunately, many of the writers that came after Kay Alden wrote Victor in a way that probably gives you the impression of him you have now, most definitely Maria Bell and Charles Pratt.

Jack then took advantage of Victor’s mental state to get control of Nikki’s company MVP. After that, he set Victor up for murder and used Adam to do it. Michael sexually harassed Christine for months and nearly raped her. Phyllis hit Paul and Christine intentionally and drove off. Paul raped Christine in 2003. Nick stole information from his father’s company and terrorized his family with the JT mask. Ashley stole Victor’s sperm to create Abby. Sharon switched paternity tests, twice, and burned down Victor’s house. Nikki, Victoria, Sharon and Phyllis covered up JT’s “death” for months. Everyone has done bad things.

Nikki and Victoria do everything in their power to make Adam feel like a second class citizen and Victor does absolutely nothing to stop it. He wants Adam to "work" for Newman Enterprises and take orders from Victoria. And where were you the other day when Nikki asked him about going to Summer and Kyle's vow renewal and he asked her if Jack was going to be there, and when she told him it was at his house, he said no. And now they have made Victoria and carbon copy of Victor. Mrs Chancellor was a mentor to Victor and gave him his first shot in Genoa City and he and Jill are supposed to be friends. Neil was a loyal employee and supposedly also a friend, but he gave Victoria the okay to take over Chancellor/Winters. Yes he is so different than he used to be. I hope Tucker is going to be different this time. Maybe he will be the one to test Colleen's heart. 🤣🤣
