President Edgar Lungu takes office promising to improve the economy

Zambia’s Edgar Lungu has been sworn in as president. Lungu, the leader of the Patriotic Front, won the August elections, beating his rival Hakainde Hichilema by 100-thousand votes. Hichilema tried, unsuccessfully, to challenge the result. CCTV’s Farai Mwakutuya attended the inauguration in Lusaka on Tuesday.
