Zomg deck looks amazing! Right then - go back to the start of part 8, and then skip to the end of this episode. Looks good eh? You’re doing some fantastic work yet again bud, can’t wait to see part 10 :)

Nice to see another update! Will the bunk beds act as storage aswell? maybe you can make the top hinged

Thanks! Yes, the bunks are also storage boxes. The cushion part is hooked to a board which is removable.

You should make your seat box a livewell! I have a 99 sportcraft 211. Ill see if i cant send you some pics of the setup

I don't really do enough fishing to warrant a live well. It would be kinda cool but I think I'd rather keep the dry storage. Thanks.

If yo don't mind me asking, how much is all that resin and fiberglass? I can't imagine that it's at all cheap, but you're using so much of it for this build. How much is it and how much are you using?

The materials are definitely not cheap! It's part of the reason it's taking me so long to finish the boat, I can't afford to buy everything I need at once. But this way I have almost zero waste. The resin is $30 a gallon, and the two main fiberglass fabrics 1708 and 1.5oz CSM are about $8.50 and $3.50 respectively for a 1 yard by 50 inch piece. I don't know off hand how much fiberglass I've used, though I have been documenting it, but I think I've used about 25 gallons of resin.

That is a lot of money you've sunk into this boat. Way more than I was expecting to be honest. But on the bright side, the boat is definitely going to last for a long time with all the effort you're putting into it.

+BHF4980 Yes, it's a lot of money and labor but as you said I think it's worth it.
