In my 9 years in 3 schools (1956-65), the Kennedy Town's swimming pool did not exist. I won a Gold Medal in the Victory Park Swimming pool in the 1963-64 campaign. Not many have changed, especially the iconic ' Ding Ding ' of which I would try my best to ride on it every time I visited Hong Kong. (from my home ' The City of Angels, Bangkok ')
Thank you for sharing your memories with us! It's fascinating to hear about your experiences in Kennedy Town and Victory Park during the 1960s. It's incredible how certain landmarks, like the iconic 'Ding Ding' tram, have remained unchanged over the years, preserving the essence of Hong Kong's heritage. Your story adds depth to our understanding of the city's history. If you have any more anecdotes or insights to share, we'd love to hear them. Thanks again for watching.🙏 Warm regards from Hong Kong!
