Hi Matt and Andrea! Thus is a nice small Thor Ace. I like it! My dislikes are the wet bay the shades for the windows and the theater seats like Matt said no head rest and there’s no pantry but it’s ok. My likes are the desk on passenger side and the dog window and the kitchen inside and live the one outside. Thank you Matt and Andrea! 21:52
It's -10 with a wind chill of -25 in Iowa. Trade ya! Seriously, the ACE is on my list. I like the size, the warranty, the outdoor kitchen, solar already installed, everything. Dislikes: the tire size (I feel so knowledgeable knowing that bigger tires mean a better ride), the non-tankless water heater, no reel for the power cord .... the latter two can be fixed with $$$.

I really wish they could bring the table out a little and add like a box to have a pop up tv to be able to watch it directly across from the theater sofa and I also agree about about the head rest on the reclining seats. But the rest is very nice.
We currently have the 2016 29.3, which this is very similar to. One thing that we use a lot is the pedestal table between the driver and passenger chair which this one does not have. We actually don’t use our dinette for eating because with the small kitchen in the 29.3, we use our table as a prep area, and actually use the pedestal table as our dinner table. Matt said you don’t need it because you have the workstation, but I completely disagree. The workstation is just that, a workstation. Also, not having a pantry is kind of nuts. We’re considering upgrading because our pantry is too small as it is and the 29D gets rid of it all together. This is a serious step backwards. The solid surface count tops are a nice upgrade. And the lighter decor is better.
I would use he outside kitchen every morning to cook my breakfast that would be my dream ..to have an outside kitchen all self contained but I worry about the bear getting into it....
This model was one of the first RV's we considered when we were first looking for an RV (we didn't know too much about rv's 2 years ago). Likes: cabinet color, king bed, outside kitchen and oven. Dislikes: exterior paint, twisty storage door locks, smaller tires and no pantry. Deal breakers: cheap blinds, plastic shower curtain door, and ccc.

We have a 2015 29.2 ACE and what we love about it is the front cap. We did have a Damon Daybreak and we hated the massive windscreen. Thor in our opinion has ruined the ACE with changing the front cap, we don't like it. Cheers Mick
We came down and checked this one out right after you finished filming. This was one of our favorites and we loved working with Stan. He was patient and taught us a lot about RVs and the different classes. It was a fun day and we got to meet Matt and Andrea!
Very strange! Onan 4000 generator with an RV with 50 amp cord. I looked at the Specs on Thor site. Still more confusing. It does not give the BTU’s of the AC’s, says Onan 4000 gen, says 50 amp cord, and says 30 amp electrical system. Totally confusing.
Liking this version but we’ve been looking at used models. Don’t like the exterior latches though. Maybe think about doing a video for those of us selling or trading in a unit. 👍🏼
They keep putting cheaper equipment in these. They have raised prices so much and made higher profits. For that price they still could have put in better seating with head comfort and better blinds and still make a huge profit. Plus the back splash should go all the way around. Looks half finished.

we have a 2018 Ace, I like how they changed the bed and put it on the other side and you can use it with the slide in, ours has a folding mattress. It is weird how they changed the the cabinets in the kitchen and living area. The ones in this one seem smaller than what we have and we have a small pantry. Love the length of the awning, it's so useful. Really wish they'd change the location of the gas fill. Sometimes it's hard to find a gas station the right orientation so you can pull all the way up to fill without blocking another pump.
Thanks for another excellent video. I really enjoy watching Matt and Andrea. I do think Thor gives you a lot for the money but every time I’ve looked at one the fit and finish…. Not so good… I had a 2004 Thor that did NOT hold up. An excellent layout and price I like the overall layout I like the outside kitchen I do NOT like there is no pedestal table in the cockpit. We swing our chairs and use it all the time. I do not like there is no pantry. I do not like the cheap curtain fixtures. Thank you again As Matt said, the outside bay is messy
Love the ACE 29D. Love the Outside kitchen The kingside bed (is there a CPAP setup?) The layout in general The size. Don’t like the stark white exterior. Love the swirl design but would prefer a light brown or cream rather than stark white Missing the headrests in the theatre seating This would be high on list.
Bought the 29g 2023 model with Matt Williams. Preferred more outside storage over the outside kitchen that duplicates the appliances you already have within. Also liked having the pantry, washer dryer prep, larger shower. Would like to see you review the 29g model.
for me with an outside kitchen the inside kitchen would not be used that much and I don't want a dinette at all in something that small but i really like it.
A good start on the Motorhome journey. For the price i can live with the minor dislikes. Personally I would not have the theater seats as there would be a kid with us and given the klutz jean is strong with us, a fall is going to happen.
Love the attached ladder, solar, theater seating, large sink, 3 burner cooktop with oven, 12 volt fridge and large bathroom with no “come watch me shower in the hallway”👍disappointed with the entry level outside features such as the cheap twisty cargo door locks and already dirty cheap TPO roof☹️

Ford had to make changes because that engines has been dropping lifters and it’s not isolated the rental people we use have three sitting waiting for new engines not a one over 700 miles on them I hope they fixed that issue
How is Thor's quality these days? In the past it's been junk but for entry level I guess it works. Hey, I put that same shower curtain/door in our Bounder.
Wow. I really like this. I'd love to be able to move up to a Super-C, but some of these gas Class A's are great. And I am not sure why we would need/want anything more than this one (other than no washer/dryer). One question - on these Class-A drop down beds in the cab, can you put in a more residential thickness mattress there? It may not be able to raise the last 4-6 inches that way, but would that be ok?

Dinette is small, so the ACE sleeps 5 but 👎🏽doesn’t eat 5 and doesn’t seat 5 (we option or aftermarket a pedestal table); no WD👎🏽 it’s a stretch but our fav class C has it; Nice OHB size and capacity 👎🏽 first upgrade goes to Brooklyn bedding that mattress is too lousy for non-paying .:. I like this RV. The light colors make it LOOKS a lot bigger on the inside than a 30 footer.
I really wish they could bring the table out a little and add like a box to have a pop up tv to be able to watch it directly across from the theater sofa and I also agree about about the head rest on the reclining seats. But the rest is very nice.

I saw a sliding barn style door for the bedroom...they just didn't show it.
Sorry but the placement of the tv is a deal breaker for me..... it needs to be directly across from the sofa... don't know why thor does that....👎

ACE is definitely NOT THE PLACE People, read the reviews on this Ace before buying one Please. Really bad reviews.
Problem is Thors are all junk. At least the two new ones I’ve seen up close. Both were high end and had nothing but problems.
