The svg that I’m using is a compound vector. When you have more than two vectors selected and try to use the Unite at Overlap you will get this error. Making them a compound vector should fix this. Sometimes you have an extra layer of the outline that could also be causing the issue. Make sure to deselect inner outline when creating the outline.
Thank you for the awesome video! I have a question. When I select the svg and the vector outline then click "unite at overlap" I get an error message that says " The operation is not supported. Please select other objects" Do I have to group the svg layers? Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong haha. Thank you for the help!
Hello ,so nice ❤ How did you get the original image of the knife onto the computer and then work on it later? No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't. Can you explain it to me, please?
@@MehdiyeMuhammediso at the 24 second mark on the video I used the machine to take a picture of the knife and since the camera is pretty accurate I used the vector tool to trace it. If you re opened the file the picture of the knife is gone. If you’d like to keep this on windows you can do what’s called a snip and take a screenshot shot which you could open back into xcs and it would stay there offline.
@@MehdiyeMuhammedi I don’t, it’s a huge flame 🔥 issue. But I can run some tests and provide a method to mitigate the issue. Give me a few days. I’m currently behind a few videos trying to keep up with Holiday orders going out. I use my S1 to cut wood and black acrylic. I have cut acrylic on the ultra but cuts are also angled so if the material is 3mm it’s really got to go through approx 3.2 mm of material at the angle. And no air assist allows flare up. I did do a test awhile back and put a small fan in front of the unit cracked. It may work ok by itself with an inline fan attached. I will test this soon.
I NEEDED THIS VIDEO BAD, THANK YOU!!
@@JeffFerry1529 if you ever need anything just reach out. I have 7 I’m trying squeeze in today and tomorrow covering a few requests.
