Although this shows a midi file, this is not, necessarily, what was sent though the virtual instruments and sample libraries that composed the audio. The midi was quantized and condensed for the sake of a better view on what's being played. Timpani rolls, Strings tremolo and harp/violin glissandi are all written as they sound, instead of a single note going through a library that plays rolls, tremolo or glissandi notes. Choirs are not displayed.
The colors on this animated score represent instruments or sessions:
- Blue (from dark to light): Strings; Basses, Celli, Violas and Violins (I and II)
- Violet: Harp
- Light Pink: Piccolo
- Dark Pink: Flutes
- Red: Oboes and Clarinets (not in unison)
- Dark Red: English Horn
- Brownish Red: Bassoons
- Yellow: Trumpets
- Orange: Trombones
- Golden/Brown: Horns
- Dark Brown: Tuba
- Green (from dark to light): Percussion; Timpani, Bass Drum, Castanets, Tambourine and Xylophone.
Man, that is awesome job! I put on one ear your score and on the other the live performance of nightwish at wacken fest 2013. It matches perfectly and it's a UNIQUE stereo experience! Everybody should try it!!
An amazing piece of work. One of my favourite Nightwish songs and you pulled it off brilliantly. Would love to have that midi file!

quarter note= 102 bpm in 4/4 and eighth note = 200 bpm in 6/8 (roughly)
The tempo is too fast
This is literally tempo locked to the original recording :)
@@vithormoraes You sure? It feels *really* fast to me, faster even than when I play it on piano (and I tend to up the BPM by like 15 BPM).
