I just bought a Remarkable 2 this week, getting really excited about it. I intend to blend your system here with Vojia's organizer to create a robust long and short term personal development and planning system. As a grad student, new father, and working professional in military space, I really need to straighten it all out and I'm grateful that you've put in the work to give something like this away for free. Loving the channel, I mean the community and if you keep up the great content and I'll keep coming back. Just subbed the podcast as well. Cheers!
All I have to say to this great video is: Be very careful how much you put onto your RM tablet. There is no local encryption whatsoever and 4-digit passcodes are a joke to a good hacker. The only encryption happens between device and cloud, and of course on the cloud. And beyond that, a USB cable connected to a laptop plus someone that understand a bit of Linux? Data EASILY breached. These devices sport a very scaled-down version of Linux. I'm just saying, be careful what you load - make sure it's data that if someone got their hands on it, it wouldn't be life-changing for you.
I'm not quite understanding why someone would put so much onto an eInk device such as this but - for those that want to, again: great video.
I download the planer,bought the deep dive for the planer AND bought a remarkable 2. JB you inspire like me crazy over here! So excited and thank you for your transparency and the enery you bring! So excited for 2024🎉!

@@morningcoach the HOME page on the planner dosent work. Same as the main view of the month that Will take me to the specific day and so on. Downloaded 2 times also from the course. What have I missed?😇
@@Shirinpenam That is weird we haven't had any issues. I posted a comment in the course. Supernote last year had an issue we didn't change anything and it started working. I am not sure what is with yours. Try the file I sent you. We have over 30K using this year no issues. I have never had that issue. I use it daily. We will figure it out. But I am wondering if it has something to do with your rM? Try and install that new file, and let me know. Thanks in advance. Tech can be so weird!!! Thanks :)

Have you gotten your Bigme kickstarter color in yet? Mine arrived today (early). I’m hoping you can figure it all out and post a how to 🤣. But, I will say, the pen and writing is even better than remarkable! Scratchier and a more natural writing feel! But, the software is very confusing and the templates are horrible. 😵💫
I haven’t yet - can’t wait to test it out and that is my fear the operating system. My dog NEO got Lepto grrrr so no videos until the baby is healthy soon I hope ❤️👊🏼👊🏼
Is It possibile to connect a bluetooth/wireless/usb C keyboard to remarkable 2 ?
I want to use your daily planning template on Evernote, BUT....
I've had major difficulty with Evernote as a company for over a year. I have the business acct and a personal acct. But they have locked me out of both until I choose a different "personal" acct because THEY dropped the old acct (plan) I was on. But I keep on paying the existing monthly charge!!! I would like to discuss my options and talk about these charges. I have sent email after email to Evernote because they no longer have a support phone number. _So I went to their corporate office in Austin._ They closed it!
So to me, it has become a worthless company, (are there others out there feeling the same way?) therefore, I am wanting to download all my notes into NOTION although its not as simple. Do you think NOTION will be a good move? (Or maybe you know something about Evernote that I don't since you have worked with them on your business template).

Hey hey no I personally have used my rM2 for almost 2 years no issues....
Does these templates works with Evernote system as well? Looking for a way to have all integrated. currently I use Notion and may use Zapier to help integrate with RM2
You can import as a pdf but I don’t know if you saw my series we just did last week with real Evernote Template If that makes sense I’ve been swamped here so I haven’t had a chance to really answer the comments
@@morningcoach ok. I am more of a notion user nowadays. The concern is how to integrate the tools to reduce duplication and improve productivity in general. For example if the PDF imported into Evernote can be searched and used in some ways, would be great
@@larklandmorley Yeah I get it you got a buy into a system and that’s the challenge notion is great but extremely detailed….. But we’re working to get more tools put together we just teamed up with Evernote they were the first want to come to the table…. Then I created interactive PDF but yes more and more is gonna come it’s just a lot of work to get all the tools integrated with our systems…. That’s the challenge right now I appreciate your comment I think a lot of people are struggling to get all these things integrated together
@@morningcoach Totally agree on lots of work to do in this space and opportunities. Here is something to think about. Lets say you prepare the plan in Evernote, then share with an eink tablet - RM2, Boox etc. Then the relevant updates on the tablet is then synchronized back with Evernote and so forth. It seems the Ipad or Android based tablets will have some advantage there over the RM2. One could just run Evernote on a Boox device I think.
@@morningcoach I guess, have to keep it simple and one use case at a time. One consideration is planning in say Evernote and then updates on the tablet as you go about the day.. but have updates captured in the background without duplicate efforts
