The Jougan is so rare that the otsuski know about it yet NONE of them have shown up in the series with it themselves. Then again, the eye stems from the Byakugan sooo… maybe not. I think after 10 tails absorption, it will activate to the highest level possible. Momoshiki’s ability to steal and absorb chakra was on a whole different level compared to most other characters in the series so I wonder if boruto can absorb the Grime soldiers similar to how orochimura absorbed a white zetsu. Or if he can turn the other otsuski he defeats into chakra pills and upgrade his eye that way? I know I’m reaching but it would bring a completely new vibe to the series if he starts defeating and eating the otsuski since that is what they like to do with their God trees.

Actually it's not impossible because Momoshiki absorbed Kurama's Chakra 2x in the series. He took half of the Foxes Chakra the first time and never used it because he was going to revive the Juubi. 2nd time was against Boro, and even though he used a Massive Rasengan, he still had plenty chakra left seeing he woke up and was not fatigued. So Kurama's chakra is still inside him.

the theory i have is the jougan can see the chakra network that bonds people and dimensions. think about it, it fits with shinjutsu very well and this bond is a theme carried over from naruto. and as a sequel, it can recontextualize naruto for the better if the mechanics of this bond is expanded on. its like a byakugan for the planet/society
I think that the Jogan has abilities of all the dojutsu because he was able to create openings in fights similar to the sharingan, he can see Chakra points like the Byakugan and can open portals to different dimensions like the Rinnegan.
I was expecting the minato vs Sannin video since that won the poll 🤣🤣. Oh well. I do feel boruto is likely to eventually awaken a second jogan during the final arc. Hope they make his chakra mode a bit more unique as compared to Naruto’s and Toneri’s. Love the thumbnail by the way and I wouldn’t mind it looking like that.

Wild theory: Kwaki and Amado become mutual allies. Amado is going to revive shibai by accident when he is reviving his daughter or he will have to give up Kwaki to revive his daughter (without Kwaki knowing) whilst Kwaki is fighting boruto. But they end up teaming up because shibai is going to want to kill Kwaki for Amados plan. Boruto and Kwaki have a moment and team up to fight shibai and take down amados plan to bring back his daughter. After that they will fight again like their predecessors! There will be spelling errors but I might of predicted this shit 😂😂

My theory is it is Eye of God pretty much. So if Boruto were to fully unlock it and Train it and push it to the limit. I think He would gain Power to see all Possible outcomes, and blueprint of reality- So all dimensions, layers etc. But as He is a mere mortal Limited by his Mortal cognition obviously it cannot go this far, so Only wattered down versions of powers i mentioned would be gained.
Jougan is just the Yang version of the Mangekyu. Similar to the Tenseigan is the Yang version of the Rinnegan. Also, people really has to stop mistaking Hanabi's/Toneri's Tenseigan (blue) as a Tenseigan. It is not. It is merely in the process of becoming one (Hamura's Tenseigan is golden lotus by design). Another note is that it is only weeks old (Madara's Rinnegan took until death to mature into a permanent Rinnegan). Lastly, Hanabi's eyes wouldn't have reverted back into a regular Byakugan.
No. Jougan is stronger than Ishiki 8th path Dojutsu. Which 8th path is also stronger than rinnegan. And rinnegan is stronger than mangekyo. Jougan is a God Dojutsu allow time skip and multiple dojutsu abilities including teleportation.
I think the best thing for this jougan to be bad ass is for it to be Abit to change to any dojutsy ability that has already bin shown in the series. I.e it can switch between dojutsu
Spoiler alert -- Jougan is basically 3TS, Byakugan, Rinnegan, it’s main power is time skipping or stopping time instantly, the only powers it’s missing is the MS and Tensigan, why? Because Hanabi will unlock the Tensigan, and Sarada will Unlock the EMS through Sasuke (even though he has one MS) Miz will stay kinda in the sai role unfortunately, Kiwaki gains no major difference other then strength and obvious various in the jutsu and ninja tools, karma Etc.
I think it should be able to do a combination of all of the other eyes, as if it's what proceeded the sharingan, byakugan and rinnegan. Also, the Otsusuki seem to fear and respect it, which means it should be able to do more than what the other eyes do as well.
At this point I think the only power up Boruto is gonna get is another rasengan variant and total mastery of the talk no jutsu because it seems like all the power ups are only reserved for Kawaki I wouldn’t be surprised if somehow Kawaki is the one who gets the Jougan. It’s honestly doesn’t make sense how Kawaki can access all of Ishikis powers where as Boruto can’t access his Jougan or any of Momoshikis powers. the thing is tho, why does he only have one jougan? everytime someone awakens a dojutsu, they get two of them in both of their eyes, such as the uchiha and madara, who awakened the rinnegan. UNLESS it's specifically granted one eye from someone else who had the same eye. for example, hagoromo gifting one rinnegan to sasuke. so, my theory is, boruto didnt awaken the jougan, but rather, some type of otsutsuki, most likely shibai, had the jougan and gifted it to boruto for some unknown reason. because all other people who have AWAKENED a dojutsu have had two of them in both of their eyes.
Toneri helped Boruto to awaken the jougan earlier than expected, he didn't give him the eye like he stoled it from someone and here you go "this is now your eye". Boruto had the eye in himself and he will awaken the jougan maybe when he gets like 25 yrs old but with Toneri's help he speed up the whole awakening process before the time comes when he showed up in his dream. The other one maybe he will awaken later or maybe never, we don't know for sure what's behind all of that.
It is a fair point. It makes me wonder if he has it in one eye because that's all his body can currently control. Being strong enough for the Otsusuki to take note of it means it probably uses a ton of chakra. Boruto should have a lot of natural chakra, but until he learns to completely control it, it may be difficult for him to control two jougans. Or maybe the writer is wanting to awaken a second dojutsu later. Really a lot of cool possibilities with this.
It was already leaked what teen boruto will unlock, he will have the “pure” eye, meaning it’s eye can be changed to fit other eyes descriptions but the eye will remain Blue/white, ( it seems to skip Mongekyo Sharingan for some reason????) but 3 tomoe Sharingan abilities are useable, strangely enough the rinnegan as well, byakugan obviously, Tensigan and MS/EMS won’t be at his disposal BUT he will have a new space time ninjutsu able to freeze time. ( think about it nobody has ever shown that ability, we’ve have space like kamui and sasukes rinnegan ability, but we’ve never had an ability to stop time)

The main fact you point out with the most relevance is that the Jougan is an Otsusuki eye. They're too familiar for it not to be. And i think it's the most relevant fact because i think most fans totally overlook that. The implication is that Boruto has inherited a powerful ability that the otsusuki find troublesome.

Further proof of this is Momoshiki telling Boruto he Strongly Inherited the Power of the Otsutsuki. Naruto has chakra from Ashura Otsutsuki and Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Hinata has chakra from Toneri and Hamura Otsutsuki. That is chakra from 4 different Otsutsukis. Not to mention Hagoromo+Hamura=Kaguya chakra. Kaguya was part Juubi because the fuses. And yes Toneri used the Tenseigan chakra orb he put in Hinata to awaken the Jougan, but what if he used his chakra to combine all 5 Otsutsuki chakras together?

But Massive Rasengan should have killed Boruto because that's way more chakra he can produce naturally. Meaning after using it he shouldn't have woken up and shouldn't have been fine. Kakashi uses Kamui and was placed in a coma for days because he used more chakra than he had to use. If Boruto was under 15% and used all of Kurama's chakra in that attack he still would have been unconscious when returning to the village.

the theory i have is the jougan can see the chakra network that bonds people and dimensions. think about it, it fits with shinjutsu very well and this bond is a theme carried over from naruto. and as a sequel, it can recontextualize naruto for the better if the mechanics of this bond is expanded on. its like a byakugan for the planet/society
I think that the Jogan has abilities of all the dojutsu because he was able to create openings in fights similar to the sharingan, he can see Chakra points like the Byakugan and can open portals to different dimensions like the Rinnegan.
I was expecting the minato vs Sannin video since that won the poll 🤣🤣. Oh well. I do feel boruto is likely to eventually awaken a second jogan during the final arc. Hope they make his chakra mode a bit more unique as compared to Naruto’s and Toneri’s. Love the thumbnail by the way and I wouldn’t mind it looking like that.

Wild theory: Kwaki and Amado become mutual allies. Amado is going to revive shibai by accident when he is reviving his daughter or he will have to give up Kwaki to revive his daughter (without Kwaki knowing) whilst Kwaki is fighting boruto. But they end up teaming up because shibai is going to want to kill Kwaki for Amados plan. Boruto and Kwaki have a moment and team up to fight shibai and take down amados plan to bring back his daughter. After that they will fight again like their predecessors! There will be spelling errors but I might of predicted this shit 😂😂

My theory is it is Eye of God pretty much. So if Boruto were to fully unlock it and Train it and push it to the limit. I think He would gain Power to see all Possible outcomes, and blueprint of reality- So all dimensions, layers etc. But as He is a mere mortal Limited by his Mortal cognition obviously it cannot go this far, so Only wattered down versions of powers i mentioned would be gained.

Similar to the Tenseigan is the Yang version of the Rinnegan.
Also, people really has to stop mistaking Hanabi's/Toneri's Tenseigan (blue) as a Tenseigan. It is not.
It is merely in the process of becoming one (Hamura's Tenseigan is golden lotus by design).
Another note is that it is only weeks old (Madara's Rinnegan took until death to mature into a permanent Rinnegan).

No. Jougan is stronger than Ishiki 8th path Dojutsu. Which 8th path is also stronger than rinnegan. And rinnegan is stronger than mangekyo. Jougan is a God Dojutsu allow time skip and multiple dojutsu abilities including teleportation.
Btw Hanabi has potential to awaken the tenseigan.

Spoiler alert -- Jougan is basically 3TS, Byakugan, Rinnegan, it’s main power is time skipping or stopping time instantly, the only powers it’s missing is the MS and Tensigan, why? Because Hanabi will unlock the Tensigan, and Sarada will Unlock the EMS through Sasuke (even though he has one MS) Miz will stay kinda in the sai role unfortunately, Kiwaki gains no major difference other then strength and obvious various in the jutsu and ninja tools, karma Etc.
This is the only outcome that makes sense honestly. I would be disappointed if this was not how it happened.
I think it should be able to do a combination of all of the other eyes, as if it's what proceeded the sharingan, byakugan and rinnegan. Also, the Otsusuki seem to fear and respect it, which means it should be able to do more than what the other eyes do as well.

At this point I think the only power up Boruto is gonna get is another rasengan variant and total mastery of the talk no jutsu because it seems like all the power ups are only reserved for Kawaki I wouldn’t be surprised if somehow Kawaki is the one who gets the Jougan. It’s honestly doesn’t make sense how Kawaki can access all of Ishikis powers where as Boruto can’t access his Jougan or any of Momoshikis powers. Naruto 2.0 all over again with the constant rasengan usage.

everytime someone awakens a dojutsu, they get two of them in both of their eyes, such as the uchiha and madara, who awakened the rinnegan.
UNLESS it's specifically granted one eye from someone else who had the same eye. for example, hagoromo gifting one rinnegan to sasuke.
so, my theory is, boruto didnt awaken the jougan, but rather, some type of otsutsuki, most likely shibai, had the jougan and gifted it to boruto for some unknown reason.
because all other people who have AWAKENED a dojutsu have had two of them in both of their eyes.
Toneri helped Boruto to awaken the jougan earlier than expected, he didn't give him the eye like he stoled it from someone and here you go "this is now your eye". Boruto had the eye in himself and he will awaken the jougan maybe when he gets like 25 yrs old but with Toneri's help he speed up the whole awakening process before the time comes when he showed up in his dream. The other one maybe he will awaken later or maybe never, we don't know for sure what's behind all of that.

It is a fair point. It makes me wonder if he has it in one eye because that's all his body can currently control. Being strong enough for the Otsusuki to take note of it means it probably uses a ton of chakra. Boruto should have a lot of natural chakra, but until he learns to completely control it, it may be difficult for him to control two jougans. Or maybe the writer is wanting to awaken a second dojutsu later. Really a lot of cool possibilities with this.

It was already leaked what teen boruto will unlock, he will have the “pure” eye, meaning it’s eye can be changed to fit other eyes descriptions but the eye will remain Blue/white, ( it seems to skip Mongekyo Sharingan for some reason????) but 3 tomoe Sharingan abilities are useable, strangely enough the rinnegan as well, byakugan obviously, Tensigan and MS/EMS won’t be at his disposal BUT he will have a new space time ninjutsu able to freeze time. ( think about it nobody has ever shown that ability, we’ve have space like kamui and sasukes rinnegan ability, but we’ve never had an ability to stop time)
