My video feed cuts out around 50 feet or so. I have an S9 Plus phone and still the video just cuts out on me. What phone are you using and are you using the wifi from the phone or an after market wifi manager?
take that monstrous prop guard off and you will get a lot better flight performance and possibly more flight time as well. In addition, if you hit a tree with those prop guards, it will be instantly attached.
I have a DX-3 and it was a great trainer. Saw this one on sale .. thought it would be a nice feature with the camera. Tried it out low height, seemed just like the DX-3, just odd with the auto take off but camera was nice. Took it to an open field in front of our house, got up around 100 feet and then it took off into the distance. Havent seen it since. Bottom line, DONT BUY THE DX-4 lol. It makes it feel like a good drone but no GPS tracking and poor radio signal = easy runaway. Looking to buy a Phantom 4 from a local seller if it checks out for my hobby needs :)
