I didn't even know Cessna made jet aircraft. The aviation world is so vast and expansive so much to learn. I've been hooked on airline crash investigation videos lately.
I used to repair avionics systems on Citations at the Executive Airport in Ft. Lauderdale. Those beauties could be airborne in half the distance it took Lear Jets to take off. Those huge wings had amazing lift.
Thanks! It used to be based here at EGBJ it was here for years, unfortunately it looks like it will not be coming back. Can't wait to see what you took:-)
Yes I was. I probably shouldn't say too much on here but feel free to say hello at the airport, always nice to meet enthusiasts and more than happy to talk if I have time. All the best.
The Cx10 is according to records the fastest private jet on the market. taking just 24 minutes to reach 47k feet at 528 knots..State of the arts Avionics. ill take one thank you!!!
Also the 1st private jet to break the sound barrier, on accident, during initial test flights. Weights shifted when they were at .98 mach and caused them to lose some altitude and break mach 1.
interesting how the rudder flips to the left, and that twin turbine system seems to be set so far back on the gear for retro braking. i'd say take off speed no more than 135 nauts. what a machine! -M kusanagi
New and way better video of this aircraft just uploaded if you are interested. Thanks very much for commenting! ruclips.net/video/3oW0OvyUZfk/видео.html
Nacho Miranda Why should I troll? I've been working at Landvetter Airport and the runway looks the same. Youd better ease down a bit or just shut up. Your attitude is a problem for you I guess...
Crazy how much jets depreciate in value. Brand new this was over 40 million. Now, you can buy one for less than 5 million.. if maintained properly, that's a hell of a value!
Peter Bruns wow that is so cool! I would love to fly this bird. That's a real shame you can't go to the full 0.92. Would love to be in one at that speed. Thanks very much for watching
+Cooper “Cooper C. Moore” Moore i also have a space shuttle. i fly to space in the weekends. btw, the Primus system doesn't set the alarms off for excess speed. Reaching that speed limit is very hard to do, not to mention, not structurally wise. i have flown upwards of 550 knots and even then alarm doesnt sound. nice try
Wow really nice! Agree with everyone, that is a gorgeous aircraft. You should look up the rubberband trick for super smooth panning. It is perfect for this kind of vid :-)
Donovan Moore the engines are governed down to 60 % its the world fasted civilian plane. i think mydal might help. help. if not a car in a garage will do the trick
From that angle, it looks like the construction crew were a bit sauced. Up and down the runway goes. Is there any reason it's that way? Great aircraft and camera work and thanks big time for NO MUSIC.
Nice close-up. Citations have surely come a long way since the 70's when pilots teased at their modest performance calling them "Near Jets" in an obvious reference to the faster Lears, or "Slowtations". Who is laughing now?
Boa Tarde....Gostaria de saber o consumo por km voado e quantos passageiros leva, ja que ainda estou me preparando para comprar um desses dentro em breve. ...e mais. Curiosidade, é obrigatorio ter dois pilotos ?
ruclips.net/video/3oW0OvyUZfk/видео.html Hello everyone, I have just uploaded a new and up-to-date video of this Citation X N750GF. The new video is in much higher resolution and contains some very close up shots, Engine sounds and also APU shutdown along with Landing and very close up Take off. Please watch the new video, i think its way better than this version. Thank you very much for watching and have a great day! ruclips.net/video/3oW0OvyUZfk/видео.html
+DesertDigger1 It's the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit). It's a small jet engine that is used to power the aircraft when main engines are not started. It also generates air pressure for starting the engines.
Hello Christian, The reason private jets (and many other passenger jets including Turboprops as well) deploy there reversers on taxying is so that they can make sure they are deploying and reacting appropriately and correctly. Basically to make sure they are working and they are not getting stuck or something else is not quite right. Thank you for watching and commenting! Have a great week
And these high level jets and even smaller older jets like the Lear 45 have FADEC that controls power parameters based on atmospheric conditions as well...to prevent engine damage or worse failure that in much older jets requires manual operation of engine limitations (ie: you better watch the engine gauges closely, especially on hot day takeoffs!). FADEC, while having many benefits, most notably for more efficient operation parameters, is a simplistic engine rev limiter and cruise control like what is in our modern cars. So "full" power is not full power on takeoff even with the throttles firewalled. Love the videos!
If the jet is light on fuel, it'll pick up speed (and take off) much faster. Thus, "full power" will be more noticeable. A jet that appears to take off like a rocket.... probably light on fuel, possibly few passengers, etc.
The Citation X has electronically controlled engines. There is no direct link between the throttles and the engines, the throttles being rheostats. There are dentents on the throttles, the highest (that does anything) is "takeoff". That takeoff detent will tell the computers to give max available power for the ambient conditions. It is generally between 83-88%. The X will not allow the engine to develop full rated power for takeoff due to single engine controllability (or so I was told by a Flight Safety instructor when I did my type rating).
Many thanks for capturing the first day of my new job, I was the FO doing the walk around. Great video, hope to see more like it.
Congratulations on the new job! What a job to have! Were you on the flight that departed yesterday? Thank you very much for commenting!
Climbs like a homesick angel!
In the side view you realize just how large the engines are in proportion to the rest of the plane, impressive!
That is one beautiful jet!
Everytime i see those engines, i get something like insane... Completly unbelieveable.
They are massive!
awesome video. Im only 14, but i want to start taking pilot lessons as soon as possible. Very good quality;)
That plane is beautiful!
I didn't even know Cessna made jet aircraft. The aviation world is so vast and expansive so much to learn. I've been hooked on airline crash investigation videos lately.
Beautiful aircraft :)
majestic. Stunning aircraft.
Cessna sure makes some sweet rides!!.....!that runway has "woops"
You must be a dirt bike rider!
Gorgeous.
Thank you very much!
Great video, it was parked up the other day by the terminal. Great to see it take off.
Thank you for commenting! Really nice!
I used to repair avionics systems on Citations at the Executive Airport in Ft. Lauderdale. Those beauties could be airborne in half the distance it took Lear Jets to take off. Those huge wings had amazing lift.
Maybe the most gorgeous jet
Excellent video-great camera work recording this good looking Citation, and nice to see the pre-flight! Liked:)
Thank you very much!:)
Nice video! saw it in the hangar last week! liked
Thank you! She lives here as you may know:)
Fantastic footage, such a beautiful plane!!! I caught this beauty today, and I had the chance to take pics from the inside! :D LIKED!!!
Thanks! It used to be based here at EGBJ it was here for years, unfortunately it looks like it will not be coming back. Can't wait to see what you took:-)
cpockettsAviation I will upload the video this week! ;)
Nice video man. Nice jet for me the best and most beautiful in the world.
270WeaMag I have to agree with you! Thanks very much
Beautiful design...big sized engines!
Good evening
Great close up both audio and video, a Pockett rocket
Yes I was. I probably shouldn't say too much on here but feel free to say hello at the airport, always nice to meet enthusiasts and more than happy to talk if I have time. All the best.
That would be great! All the best to you too sir.
Awesome video man!!! Epic take-off!!
Thank you!!
Good looking aircraft... Pretty paint....
she is very nice! Happy holidays mate!
A beautiful machine
The Cx10 is according to records the fastest private jet on the market. taking just 24 minutes to reach 47k feet at 528 knots..State of the arts Avionics. ill take one thank you!!!
mike loder The C10+ (Citation X+) Is even more impressive:) Thanks very much for watching
Welcome its an Awsome Jet!! Looks Great in Person too

Thank you very much for this video
Those Jets look like the size of a standard commercial jet engine on a plane a quarter of the size.
SouthWestIron Yeah haha! They are very big:) Thank you for watching
+SouthWestIron The engine itself isn't that big, it's the incorporation of engine accessories and thrust reverser that makes the cowl so big and long.
New and way better video of this aircraft just uploaded if you are interested. Thanks very much for commenting! ruclips.net/video/3oW0OvyUZfk/видео.html
+cpockettsAviation thanks for posting!
+Blitzvogel Mobius thanks I had no idea. What I do know is its extremely cool!
Great video and very nice catch!Big like!:)
Thank you very much!
Nice video, great airplane.
Thanks for taking the effort to make this "stalker video" in bad weather! :D
Citation X is my favorite.
god that's a beautiful bird
shakenama She is indeed! Thanks for you're nice comment
I really need to get one of these.
AK Pilot Yes, me too
Nice short filed take off
It's like a freaking rocket ship!
Thanks. Great Looking Airplane.Mmmmmmmm
Those engines are huge! They're probably about the the same size as the older B737 models.
woah, that runway looks like roller coaster.
It's supposed to. They alwayys are that way. Easing take of....
really???!!!, is that your professional opinion or you are just trolling.
Nacho Miranda Why should I troll? I've been working at Landvetter Airport and the runway looks the same. Youd better ease down a bit or just shut up. Your attitude is a problem for you I guess...
martinhillersweden ok, so you have no idea then
Nacho Miranda I've seen hundereds of runways but you haven't since you ask those silly questions hehe
muito lindo!!! Show!!!
Awesome video mate liked this ! subbed you 2:)
Euro Aviation Spotter Thank you very much

***** ?
Love it.
It kinda looks like a small piece at the back of the right turbine is missing though.
big ass engines!
Top de mais esse jatinho particular
Never seen one of these in person!
A2 Aviation It is a Fantastic Aircraft
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Ten
Wow really nice! Agree with everyone, that is a gorgeous aircraft. You should look up the rubberband trick for super smooth panning. It is perfect for this kind of vid :-)
Nick Mirro Thanks for the very nice comment, I have now got a new camcorder witch gets rid of all the shaking and makes it much more stable!
Ánimo Pilotos Aviadores
Besutiful!
nice video
Thank you
Nice video! A friend of mine just bought one of these bad boys a few months ago. It's AWESOME!!! These baby's are FAST!! :-)
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for commenting! So lucky to be able to buy one!
Yeah he's got a citation 5 as well. But there is no comparison to what the 6 is. The 6 was right at 23 million with all the extras. :-)
I'm expecting a tour on your channel soon
Chad Cole You're about as full of shit as RUclips kids come.
Grow up dude!! You don't even know me. 😃Lol. You don't have a clue. I don't tell lies like most of you KIDS do on here.
May GOD bless you!!!
I'm saving up to get one of these............
:-)
Almost there?
***** I'm working on it guys. Just a few more lemonades and .....
How about now? I want a free flight!!
That is a nice-looking plane!! Is it just me or did that plane take off really fast? Great video!
Beautiful plane. Very nice video. Pilots must loose the useless ties.
pretty awesome footage :) !!!!
that's sweet...
Thank you very much!
im buying one of these. after i win powerball of course
Interesting to see 3 November registered aircraft.
wooohoooo!!!!!
tasev1 Glad you enjoyed. Much more like this on my channel:)
nice!
4:28 Take off
Cool
Thank you very much sir
I think I was pressed back into my computer chair ...lol
Nice Jet. The only thing that would make it better is bigger engines.
Donovan Moore the engines are governed down to 60 % its the world fasted civilian plane. i think mydal might help. help. if not a car in a garage will do the trick
Good hell that thing is already all engine !
Hello friend! Wonderful zoom. What camera did you use?
From that angle, it looks like the construction crew were a bit sauced. Up and down the runway goes. Is there any reason it's that way? Great aircraft and camera work and thanks big time for NO MUSIC.
Nice close-up. Citations have surely come a long way since the 70's when pilots teased at their modest performance calling them "Near Jets" in an obvious reference to the faster Lears, or "Slowtations". Who is laughing now?
Hahah i bet they regret saying that! Thanks for commenting and taking a look!
Yeah, it could be the fastest civil private jet, but Citations still are ugly as hell!
I personally think they look great!:)
I got this on infinite flight (app) and when I saw the engines I was like wow. But it started to grow on me and now I don't Mind the engines
I think they look really nice! Thank you for commenting
An aluminum bird. Wonderful!
Nice sound lidleling ...similar to a diesel 18 wheeler.
Question: Was it raining at take-off? I couldn't tell.
The Citation X is a strangely beautiful plane. I love city-hoppers like this.
It is actually capable of performing transatlantic flights, surprisingly. Although only from New York to London (Short transatlantic).
Boa Tarde....Gostaria de saber o consumo por km voado e quantos passageiros leva, ja que ainda estou me preparando
para comprar um desses dentro em breve.
...e mais. Curiosidade, é obrigatorio ter dois pilotos ?
whats the black aircraft in the background? looks like a king air c90????

Классный
Comes with it's own Benz fuel truck..
They wish...:) just the standard airport one
This is the fastest civilian plane. It's weird, you would think Gulf Stream or bombardier would have that title.
So, it took off. What is the "must see" part?
I hear that there are Refurbishing programs which rebuilt regular X models into the X plus? can someone comment on that?
First time i saw a 10 all I could say was "Whats Up With The Engines On That Thing?" ---0o0---
They are very big for its body! Thank you for your comment
At 04:32 there are two flashes at the right Wing. What is that?
Navatone Tutorials Strobe light (IFR)
Lots of engine for a small airframe!
Slung shot down the runway like it was on a catipult
Whats the center hole for on the back end of jets,an exhaust?
+DesertDigger1 It's the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit). It's a small jet engine that is used to power the aircraft when main engines are not started. It also generates air pressure for starting the engines.
+DesertDigger1 APU = Auxiliary Power Unit. it`s an exhaust.
If i start selling lemon juice now, I might be able to afford one 3 lifetimes later!
the same type as the Citation from Klaus Boehmdorfer??
I have never understood why business jets use the engine's reverse while taxiing, does anyone know?
Hello Christian,
The reason private jets (and many other passenger jets including Turboprops as well) deploy there reversers on taxying is so that they can make sure they are deploying and reacting appropriately and correctly. Basically to make sure they are working and they are not getting stuck or something else is not quite right. Thank you for watching and commenting! Have a great week
+cpockettsAviation Is there a system that lets them know if the reverse thrust is working properly or do they get that info from the tower?
Single-point fueling... nice! From an old line worker... I appreciate that touch! Are those the same engines that are on the MD-80?
+bythedog Not even close. MD80 engines produce 3 times the thrust these engines produce.
looks like a very undulating runway. those engines are huge.
Don't they all take off with full power?
No, sometimes it is not necessary to use full power.

I always imagined the runways were perfectly flat and straight. That runway looks like a slide at a waterpark! Whooptydoos galore. What gives?
£60,000 to rent that bad boy out I got a quote lol
Not full power, but for sure was powered up.
did it really need that 50 foot of backtrack? Really?
I don't like 10's without winglets..looks funny.
How funny? Are you laughing?
Who thought jets have much value? The jet in the video has a lot of room for passengers.
I wonder if this is whay we pay so much for everything here in my country.
