I love Hoi An and Vietnam ! I've been to Hoi An twice. Second time was for 3 weeks and during Tet / New Year. A tradition is flowers and a whole street was closed for flower sellers. Beautiful. I rented a motorbike every day and rode in the countryside. The rice fields are beautiful. Even some local people invited me to their homes for meals. I would love to go to live there beside a rice field
There sure is...we went up north to the Ha Giang Province and did a 4 day motorbike loop in the mountains there and it was a spectacular time. Cat Ba island was ok and it was very full of tourists. it looks like you are having a good time.
Nice job. I spent a month in Hoi An and it's safe, quaint and special. The beaches are only a bike ride away and they are excellent. Surfable for you surfers. My favorite city in Vietnam.
Been there: so I’m walking down the street there with my travel companion and an older Vietnamese lady walks by and asks my friend and I if we wanted to take a picture of her...( she had one of those bamboo poles balanced on her shoulders with two baskets on either end)... so we thanked her for the offer, took her picture, and smiled obligingly. When we had finished photographing her, she said, “ Good, now you pay me!”..... haaaaaaaaaaa.
Dude! This vlog video is awesome! Extremely different than all the other travel vloggers. Very unique. It's like an old Hollywood film or maybe new. You should pitch your vlogs to Netflix! Your a "Film Maker" for sure. The music choices, colors, the whole cinematography was great! Keep making more like this!
Thanks a lot! Great comment, really appreciate it. It’s really good to hear when someone truly appreciates my videos for their uniqueness. That’s the best thing I could hear
@@AlexanderTravelbum Picking up local sounds is so much nicer even if it's just a radio of wind chimes. Anything but that dirge. Have fun on your travels. :)
i'm just a citizen in Hoi An, but i was confused... your shooting angle is always continuous, making it impossible for viewers to sit around and watch slowly, which is great, it gives me a lot of inspiration even though I can't and I can't even film or set it up. like your perfect video. ( sorry for my bad english, keep good work, )
welcome to my country, Karen :)) u should try the cao lau at the oldest cao lau restaurant in hoi an, it's more than 150 years olds, i made a video about this, u can give a look to learn more :))
One of the best travel vids I've seen after many years. I like the style. You Even got a shirt without writing on it. Subbed. We'll retire the SE Asia in a couple years and this hints at a cool vibe. I do hate aggressive hawkers tho. Man v. coconut.... VN crossfit bruh.
Nice vid Alex! Man with coconut..lmao. They have Mango LASSI..wow, being from Punjab..we love Lassi like anything!! Alex, do they offer cruise dining on river at night? Just asking, if you know it
It depends where it comes from Vn, and in the season or not, dragon fruit from Binh Thuan is the best flavour, sweet and a bit sour. It is very expensive in Australia, sometimes it is up to 15AUD/kg and unfresh,🤣
I actually I traveled to Vietnam right before leaving for my vanlife trip, and before I met the girl. This is old footage so I am with her now but we’re in Europe for a little bit
It’s great, it really looks good. The autofocus is still an issue though so it is more difficult, more headaches. But I think it’s worth it for the look. This video actually wasn’t shot with it though, this vid is with Canon 70D. All my recent stuff, The USA travel stuff I used the gh5. So you can see the difference in quality
why doesn't anyone mention the pollution and rubbish their water ways are just dumping facilities go to their beaches during their wet season and witness the rubbish washed up. their solution is to bury directly on the beach. do not dig under the sand.
you are so much inspiration. every video
gilad3339 thanks so much! Best comment ever

Scott Crosby yes it’s a great city. I bet that was an amazing time to be able to stay a month there and really get to know it. I’d love to do that
Sometimes I close my eyes when watching this channel and pretend it's Leonardio DiCaprio showing me around Vietnam.
Soggy Wombat whoa that’s insane, it sounds so much like him

Haha yeah. They always ask for money after wanting a picture, almost always ha

These vids show a definite talent, a special style.
I don’t think I’ve come across a video that captures the culture and essence of Vietnam like this one 👏👏
Thanks a lot! That’s very much appreciated
Thanks for not destroying the video with that generic 'travel music' they're all using. Great vid. I loved Hoi An. :)
Ha thanks for noticing. Can’t stand that stuff

Yeah, it’s an unfortunate thing to see but a lot of countries in the world you have to just avert your eyes
