My good lord . I’m currently in eastern PA and literally. It’s cloudy. I have been to Iceland and I’ve seen the aurora. I want to see it in America! I’m so sad

@@slize4145 It’s so beautiful like you can’t even help it. The first time I saw it, it wasn’t even that great but it made me so happy I wanted to cry.

I'm wondering if it would be visible on Saturday night as well.

Hey Ray, is there any way we can forecast the Northern Lights? Or did I miss your “heads up”?

I’m not Ray, sorry. But I am someone who has studied solar/space weather for many, many years. SWPC (Space Weather Prediction Center) has a dashboard that’s pretty user friendly at www.swpc.noaa.gov and that has an Aurora borealis forecast animation. On RUclips there’s Dr. Tamitha Skov. She’s an award winning science communicator and she has classes but also does a weekly report. Hope this helps! 😊

    Why!?
Simple. The Earth’s Magnetic Field is very weak as it is about to go to zero, before it flips, as it has DONE before many times.
But! What does happen and can happen during that time the Earth is not protected from Asteroids and solar energy? Ahhhhh!

It's NOT "northern" lights... they are Auroras! No more DICTATING WHERE THEY ARE "seen"
