Something I absolutely fucking adore about Elijah is the fact that he's probably the only modern metal guitarist that i can just hear so much influence in his playing. This song is heavy but i can hear all of the Steve Vai in this. Its so fucking cool. Please never change. 🖤

God I fucking love this riff so much. Been a fan for years and can't believe how you keep managing to make addictive riffs so consistently. Literally can't get this shit out of my head
2:01 - 2:28 the absolute best and right before another time stamp I would include but isnt needed because absolute sic distorted solo starts immediately right at the beginning of around 2:28. Anyway rough day at work James and so I was like F this BS man, I’m going to close the door to my office and blast some of your guitar play-through videos which puts me in a much better mood haha! 🤘 Just counting the minutes down until I can leave and go rip on one of my axes myself. You’re living the dream man. Something you and your bandmates need to never forget is that this stuff could end at any moment and then you have to find a real job. So do this for as long as you guys can or at least until you make enough money that you never have to answer to the man ever again. 🤘🎸 I envy you all haha! I hope you continue writing with clean tone parts like this also or songs like Erased etc. I love the chugs more than anything but when you can incorporate good melodic cleans to go along with it, awe nothing better and what I always loved about the Nu-Metal era. You guys seem to get lumped into like Grungecore or Metalcore, even Nu-Metal. Sure I hear those influences everywhere, and I guess albums like Too Far Gone, Kill The Sun EP, and even Smile has some tracks that I guess from a mood perspective could be considered grunge-like but to me you guys are just a really good Hard Rock Metal band. Call em Hard Rock or Metal, all these terms out there haha. I even hear Sevendust influence with some of your playing. I like how you incorporate harmonics, one of the reasons Clint and John will forever be guitar hero’s of mine besides the forever great Edward Van Halen and Dime RIP. I hear the Dime stuff with that whammy bar most definitely also BUT with your own twist on it still. I know you guys use to have 2 guitarists and a lot of times we know that can make the sound of a band that much better, hence Clint and John, BUT then you have others like legend Mick Mars of Motley Crue their only guitarist that could make his band sound as if they had 2 guitar players. I think you have that talent also man and can attest just from watching Cane Hill live in concert. The first time I saw you guys was with Sevendust and absolutely blew me away! Bought your albums that next day. I remember first hearing you do that Lord of Flies riff and looked at my chick next to me like yep, these dudes have the talent and are legit. Granted 7Dust doesn’t tour with shxt bands to begin with so that should automatically tell everyone this must be a good ass band. Cane Hill has the vocals, a badass drummer and bassist, and a guitar player (besides also the dudes in 7Dust) who hasn’t got me stoked and excited about guitar since the days of Dimebag. I salute you my friend because you rip, always stay Shred’n🫡🎸🤘
