- A lot has happened with GSX since its release. And in fact GSX turns out NOT to be the reason for the CTDs so many of you had.
I've teamed up with @BritishAvgeek for this one as he also had issues leading to his deinstallation right live on the stream. We'll discuss how easy it was for both of us to be misled into believing GSX caused the issues while the root cause actually was Microsoft Flight Simulator itself.

Would be nice to see Umberto chat to you and Luke and go through the issues, all working together. The fact that we are all concerned about this shows how much the community loves this product and desperately wants it to work. I hope Umberto can see and appreciate that. :)
We don't even know how to update this product because he won't let new customers into his forums. That's shady to me.
After his first "review", if I was Umberto I would ignore this guy forever. And Britishavgeek too. That one was more of a disappointment for me. Talk about big youtuber mouths.
@@litgeorge That's on the developers. I for one am glad there are RUclipsrs giving honest reviews on products for the flight sim. We don't want to pay for a product that is half-baked - no one does. The onus is on development teams to sort their products out and produce something for consumers to rave about.

I think we've discussed exactly that topic right within the video.
What I use GSX for now: Pushback, Marshalling and follow mes.
The rest is unusable for me. But those three work, so why not make use of them?
I actually thought this video was a joke as the passenger's are hanging out the tail and eyebrow windows but i guess not.. Im with you..ill wait.
@@A330Driver You're so right - I really only ever used GSX in P3D for pushback, follow-me but also calling up stairs when arriving at an airport with stands. That was also my plan in MSFS. The loading and passengers was a bit of a gimmick for me. A doubt real pilot every give a crap about them when their head is down planning the flight and completing FMC inputs.
I find it interesting that he took the time to respond on this post, but didn’t, have the time to test the product (honestly). He could also use some help in the “customer support” department and could have admitted in so much. Worse yet he continues to defend his behaviour.
Whether he intends it or not, if he continues along this path he will claim the mantle from CaptainSim.
From what I‘ve seen I’m still not going for GSX as long as it doesn’t drastically enhance the procedural errors talked about in the last video. Also some of the animations are a joke really. I‘m hoping the feedback of many many users here is heard and applied to the product because I would love to have a great ground service product and I did quite like it back during FSX times - it was good for the time but we‘ve moved on folks. Really disappointing for ~2 years of development.
We‘ll see what the future brings.

CTD or not the product still isn't worth 38€ at its current state. Finished product did not deliver.
I bought GSX but have not installed it yet. I have been exceptionally pleased with my P3D version and used it on every flight. I figured the initial release on the new platform was going to be iffy. I will get around to installing and will wait for the updates as they come available... glad to hear GSX wasn't the CTD issue.
The P3Dv4 version has been excellent. A solid product and that's why I purchased MSFS version this weekend. So disappointed.

GSX is really a LOT of work. I installed again recently, and truly spent time setting up gates, equipment layout etc. At this point, just since reinstall, Ive spent about 5 hours setting up 1 or 2 gates at various airports that I visit most. I have approx 140 3rd party airports. Which can actually cause some additional challenges operating jetways etc. I have excluded these airports from using gsx jetways, but sometimes it can be difficult to get gsx to control jetways. FSDT says if gsx cant operate a jetway, than something is wrong with the jetway, but that isnt the case since pmdg or fenix plane can operate the jetway at the same time gsx cannot.
FSDT definitely has a bad attitude in responding to customers. I have personally NOT had any issues as Ive chosen not to reach out after reading so many different posts on their forums and reading the response from FSDT.
Its important to recognize that it will take some time and work setting up gsx if someone wants it to operate as reasonably expected. I do think their advertising is a bit misleading. This is NOT a download and enjoy software program.
Congrats for the mea culpa! GSX has a lot to improve, but still it's a great add on and gives a LIFE to the simulation.
It’s still a buggy mess that was released too early. I uninstalled it because it killed immersion with how buggy it was.

I wish for the wingwalker or as you call them dispatcher, you could pre plan where they will go. Yes I do wish they were faster, but at my airline we always go to Capt side per our ROM. Now normally if we push and end up to the side where we are facing away from the gate we try to show the pin off the nose so we can quickly get out of the way

After 2 years since MSFS2020 was launched, it is both disappointing and frustrating to find that it is a far too common occurrence that the users discover issues which have an impact on the usability of the product. As we have learned, it usually occurs following a simulator update. In my opinion, when Asobo / Microsoft discover these issues, I believe that they should find a way of notifying users via some kind of pop-up message each time they start up the simulator. It should not be left to the users to scroll through the Forums to try and find what the heck is going on! In this most recent case, it would have been handy to know what action to take to use the product without crashes to desktop! i.e. turn off "online services". It would also have saved the reputation of FSDT's GSX before it became unfairly tarnished.
I did say i wanted a refund but I changed my mind, removing it is worse. At least you have something that will probably be great in a few months.
When GSX was first released for P3D there was an issue with big performance drops on multi monitor setups. Umberto was convinced it wasn’t GSX causing the problems but after connecting remotely to my pc and testing he found it was, and be fair to him GSX was then fixed within a pretty short time. I think he’s proud of his products and doesn’t particularly like people criticising them but if he finds there is a genuine problem he WILL do his best to fix it pretty quickly.
I agree. FSDreamTeam and its members have been around for quite some time and are flight simmers themselves and I have no doubt they take pride in their work. At some point, they also need to eat and products are released which aren't perfect but at prices was are realistic. But I found the fly-off-the-handle reaction from much of the community quite distasteful and not helpful; especially when they had little insight into what was actually causing the problem in this complex simulation. I can understand it though coming from the naive folks out there who are quick to judge and slow to learn; but to hear it from the more experienced members of the community that many look up to was disappointing.

There’s been a lot of unnecessary unfairness and nit-picking about the it ‘out of the box’ but GSX has always been ‘different’, a sort of hybrid product, part practical, part purely visual, and always highly customisable by the user/community. You are in effect buying a basic program with many options built in which works but also allows anyone who so desires to change and fine tune to their liking, and then share their work with others, what a great thing and absolutely in keeping with the flight sim community ethos. Integrating a complex product into a complex (and somewhat unstable at times) sim can’t be easy and it’s a shame that a few people were quick to assume the worst.
@@peterregan8691 Absolutely. Flightsimming is a hobby for many people and this is something a lot of folks don't seem to realize. The community has always been key in contributing to the richness of what is a available for enhancing the experience; everything from content to utilities to supplements to hardware. Part of the community are the professionals and the businesses we rely on for key components. Mindlessly trashing their best efforts is counterproductive. Simulation of the complex man-made and natural worlds, and interaction between them, is not trivial and sometimes things do not work perfectly or work less than ideally. Patience is key. I doubt there are many model railroaders out there that threw out their trains the first time a boxcar derailed.
Passengers are walking on the top of your cockpit for Gods sake - it may not cause CTDs, but the animations are a bit of a joke and looks the same as it did when I purchased for P3D about 4 years ago (didn't work properly then) Looks like a straight port from P3D/FSX
That is my main problem at the moment and my personal Show Stopper not to buy it yet as i had it in fsx and it was fine but for an Immersion Animation sorry it is not worth my money for the moment.
i have a feeling that GSX has some bugs and wrong stand numbers and locations as it was made and developed to read default scenery so it doesnt read add-on scenery correctly. Still well done on finding the problem and helping us out!

Thanks for your explanation, still has a bug when I cannot edit the doors position of any airplane (tryed with BAE146). Everytime I save the new doors positon, they will reset and have all the ground equipment offset looking ugly. Read on the forum that other people reported this problem, hope for a fix soon.

While I’m one of the unfortunate simmers with constant MSFS CTD’s since last weekend, I still think GSXPro didn’t help. I have to ask myself why: PMDG 737-700 at LAX (MSFS hand crafted) wouldn’t even load until I uninstalled GSXPro? Sure, it loaded several times on Sunday, just to crash later (Fenix A320) but on Sunday, MSFS simply crashed on start-up, as soon as I selected the Simbrief generate flight plan and tried to start the sim.
As soon as I uninstalled MSFS was sort of stable with PMDG but totally unstable when flying FBW or Fenix A320 so while I completely accept your own findings from multiple tests, I still think FSDT have some work to do before I’ll reinstall, even after the sim becomes usable again.
Glad you talked about support, I understand that it’s a one man team but Umberto comes off as very rude and passive aggressive at times, which is unfortunate.

I also have now problems with CTD with the annoying NTDLL. But looks like I figured how to fix it for now before asobo do with it something. Pretty much flyable for now, nut not exceeding 4 hours.
Before the crash is happening I can notice Live weather crashes and no cloud can be visible in the sky. Take in mind. If you see clear sky and you sure there must be at least some few clouds, be ready to have CTD in 10 minutes. Will hope they've fix that soon.
Ehh. Gonna wait on programs like this.. thank you Emmanuel and others who are pioneers in getting the developers to work out all the kinks and bugs !
Let's not forget though that the CTD is not the only reason many people have refunded it for. There are all the other bugs and issues that need to be ironed out.
Umberto has ALWAYS talked down to his customers. Don’t ever think you’ll get help in that forum, at least not from Umberto/FSDT. Any help comes from other technically savvy FSDT customers. That said, I’ll buy every product they put out. Just expect to find help elsewhere.

Gsx need some fine tuning but it’s not terrible, hopefully the can fix some issues in due time. Also what airport is this @737NG Driver
GSX DOES cause MSFS to CTD depending on what aircraft you’re using.. For example it works with the PMDG but the Salty 747 and default 787 it crashes the sim

Server issues really shouldn’t be crashing the sim. On another note, the head guy at FSDreamteam, Umberto Colapicchioni is a complete and utter arse to his customers on the forums, and that’s if you can even get approved to use the forum, lots of people me included have been waiting days. Don’t think this company should be getting any money, at least not Umberto.
Man… I didn’t have GSX, but I blamed everything for those crashes - from vPilot to REX Weather Force - everything except for MSFS itself… Thanks for info…!
Fortunately I didn't have any of the crash to desktops. But maybe I wasn't online when the servers were having problems. It's not perfect, but GSX is pretty cool. I'll keep it on my system.
Seems a complicated piece of software, think it has potential. But personally, I just want to keep flying ! Ground services less interest from my side…but hey, that’s only me. I’d rather buy more aircrafts :)
I encountered a big issue with installer. When I install GSX for P3D and FSX GSX pro does not work. They should allow to us install in separate locations. I did a succesful fight EDDL to EDDH without installing P3D and FSX. I have no solution for this so far. I wasted 3 days so far.

Im glad that its not GSX causing the CTD.
Although with mine, its a mixture of CRD and BSOD, and I dont think the MSFS servers are causing BSODs
I have GSX as I used it in P3D and enjoyed the immersion. I did uninstall GSX but I will install again in the next few days. What was bad was the customer support post release. The release of software like this needs a big support team, not just one guy? Also Umberto could do with some help with inter personal skills as his manner in the forum is generally not good. Having said this I hope GSX improves and evolves into the great add-on it deserves to be.

Bought it. It seems i got the "Couatl engine hasn't started" fix it via a manual setup installer after digging the fsdt forum. Still buggers me that we don't have full jetway customization+replacement feature cause that was what attracted me for their p3d release years ago.

Like any software developement there will be issues and can you imagine trying to answer a million questions, instead of finding and fixing the issue. Its like when your ISP network goes down, everyone is calling to find out what happened!
Thanks for making this video. As a content creator I think it's important to understand your influence on the community, try to assess the situation and be aware of confirmation bias before we make a statement. Fingers crossed the big issue gets resolved by Asobo, soon! Nice one guys 👍
Absolutely agree with you. At the point where I made the original video *ALL* available evidence pointed 100% to GSX.
Just think about it:
Your sim runs fine. Then you install a new addon. All of the sudden you're not able to complete any flight anymore. Under the two videos you have published about that addon others complain as well that they get CTDs since they installed GSX.
Now I go ahead and uninstall GSX, do two flights and no more CTDs.
That's about as clear of a proof that my theory is right as it can get, isn't it?
At that time there were no reports (or at least not more than usual) in the MSFS forums, so no source to counter my theory either. The big discussion topic about the CTDs really came up only a day later, see here: forums.flightsimulator.com/t/constant-ctd-every-flight-now-ntdll-dll/537543
My video is from the 19th, the big topic in the MSFS forums started on the 20th.
Therefore there was no evidence whatsoever to suggest my theory was wrong.

I agree with you that our influence on the community is huge and that's exactly the reason why, when evidence came out that GSX is *NOT* causing the CTDs I immediatley did a second video with the suspicion and then this one confirmed it as it became absolutely clear.
Now some people say I'm loosing my credibility because of this, but in all hoensty: I doubt I could have kept my credibility with those individuals if I simply left the statement of day one, which by then seemed absolutely sure, uncommented and without correction, either.
@@A330Driver I think many of us have had similar situations as you describe in MSFS at various points, myself included, so I get you completely! I hope you don't think I was pointing a finger at you specifically, this is something I'm always trying to improve on as a content creator, too.
If anything you've gained credibility, IMO, for being as transparent as possible throughout, especially considering you received a press copy. And exactly - if certain individuals can't see past the fact we are all only human they are probably not people you want in your community, anyway! Keep up the great videos! 😊
Aside from the CTD problem, this is an expensive app that is supposed to add realism to the sim. From the videos I've seen, this adds a lot of time to getting ready to fly, and watching people and vehicles moving through the fuselage to me is laughable. The waste of time doing things other than flying is counterproductive to me. I am not interested in it even if they do solve the CTD.
Almost like people have to board in real life.
Just finished a flight with the 737-700 (and without GSX - since i havent purchased one) but the flight ate a chunk of time from just imputing FMS data and getting myself off the ground. I can imagine the absolute horrific time consumption the same flight would've suffered having to wait around watching the boarding animation with a GSX on.

Hi. I have really big problems with GSX. I bought it about 6 months ago. I did everything you said in this video and i read the manual but it won't link the folders to the communty folder even when it says it should be working. I've contacted support and i wrote a message to the forums but nobody responds. This really annoys me not only because i lost a lot of money but because i really need this addon. I've tried everything but i've lost my hope. I wonder if you could help or do you know anybody who could😢😢
Its the content creators that build up the product and then when issues like GSX happens, although we use some rational thought in troubleshooting, we jump, spectulate and criticize
FSdreamteam has multiple developers afaik. They don’t have a dedicated support team though
game crashes is the worst in MSFS cause it takes forever to to get ready again
This is really about Asobo and how they handle CTD. Until we can get a TRUE error reporting system in MSFS where we can track down the cause of a CTD, there is no way we can blame ANY addon or setting. As it is now, we're reduced to blind troubleshooting.
If i have gsx Can i still play online with out any problems
I don't understand that they don't provide any tools for troubleshooting or debugging the processes. I had the boarding of the crew bug out and I could not use any other features of GSX and had to push back with the PMDG pushback. An option to just skip certain parts would undoubtedly help with some problems.
Also just CTD'd while using flying in MSFS2020 and writing this comment lmao.
I hade 3 CTD at saterday fly from Luxemburg and I dont have GSX, normaly I dont have problem with msfs its something I think Asobo/microsoft has change something or server error
No CTD's for me - but I am using the Google map enhancement mod and was doing so during the early release of GSX and ever since (over a dozen completed flights). Anybody else having a similar lack of CTD's? I'm guessing that if MSFS isn't trying to download data from the Asobo servers then you're not going to get a CTD.
So the following tested EU (west) server at each flight there is a crash to deskop. Switched server to Asia and there is no crash… Oo
I dont own gsx and have unusual ctd. I got over 20 flights with no problem with pmdg 737-7 and suddenly after friday the ctd started to happen. Almost every flight ends ctd. After i take the online settings off from data page it started working. So the problem is bigger than we think
Actually after i calculated my flights after purcharing the 737-700 i have had over 70 flight with it and NOT a single ctd. I havent add anything in the community folder and havent change any settings after i got the pmdg. I'am 99% sure this is something else than gsx.

We need to give it time....If everyone remembers PMDG's GSX was the best. They are no better than when Microsoft launches a New version of Window's
It appears that there are 2 areas where GSX Pro can be improved - configuring airport sceneries and aircraft ground ops. Neither of these areas should rest mainly on the sim pilot. The number of airports at which scenery configuration and ground ops changes are required becomes a major set of development and maintenance tasks as a simmer's number of installed sceneries and aircraft models rises significantly over time (I already have 240 freeware and 1 purchased airport).
Aircraft ground ops should be Umberto's responsibility, with tweaks enabled for the simmer.
Configuring airport sceneries should be the primary responsibility of the scenery developer and should include taxiway and road mappings, pushback destinations, etc. Again, ability to tweak by the simmer is also beneficial.
So I feel that most efforts should be made by the product developers with modifications possible by the simmer. 😄
I agree, it is a pity that the user has to do so much configuration within GSX. He shouldn't have to do that.

Depends if you can live with the bugs. It got a lot of bugs. Basically what I believe it's good for at the moment is pushback (given limitations, see my first uninstallation video), Marshalling and Follow Me's.
I would not use it for boarding, deboarding and fueling at the moment.

Not quite, on the first I said it's got loads of issues but the reason for the uninstallation is the CTDs. Then it turned out the CTDs are not caused by GSX after all.
So of course I give it another try. But I think I made it clear in this video as well that there are loads of issues, did I not?

Thank you @737NG Driver and @British Avgeek you have moved the world of comment around MFSF to the next level. I used to be a journalist and PR and it is notable to me that whilst many of your colleagues still have vids out there saying how great GSX is you have pursued this story to where it needed to go and informed your subscribers. Chapeau! So, yes, GSX were unlucky to launch into a blizzard of MS issues that weren’t theirs. But, also yes, the software is cumbersome and, seemingly, memory heavy. Have they responded openly to these issues, as far as I can see, not and their brand will suffer. So lots of lessons here. I will now reinstall GS - it has attractive features, and I’d be dishonest if I said I wasn’t looking forward to using it. But there are big lessons for other software developers. Our PCs are groaning under the weight of MSFS, our community folders and external software. A light touch is now required. Poorly written programs that demand huge memory won’t fly - literally. ASOBO might start thinking about this also. But well done both - you are head and shoulders above some of your peers.

It is, but expect GSX to be buggy. As I say in this video, it is mostly good for Pushback, Marshalling and follow mes at the moment. But those it does alright, given the issue that Pushback takes a LOT of time and the ramp agent walking across your taxi way.

@@emilmorganmullertz9979 The crashes turned out to be introduced by Asobo at around the same time GSX was released. Very, very bad coincidence, but actually when all online services are disabled in the sim you can use it without CTDs. Regardless whether you have GSX installed or not.
well it is usable but is not the most comfortable Tool in the world. i am using Boarding and pushback and that works alright for me.
fuel integration with pmdg/fenix i dont know it doesnt work for me.
However, GSX has some MAJOR issues, for one -- the Live Updater only updates 2 .cfg files every time on my system. You have no idea of knowing if you're on the latest version or not, which in 2022 you'd think that would be easy. Also, as a new customer, I can't even post in their forums, 4 days later I'm still not approved.

Sorry @737NG Driver and @British Avgeek, you need to go to PMDG board and see MANY people are experiencing CTD who don't even have GSX installed.

How to call your credibility into question in three easy steps.
If I loose credibility because I did a mistake by saying GSX caused those CTDs I have to live with it. Yet I feel it is more important to risk this credibility than to keep an incorrect statement standing in public.
@@A330Driver I like your content, but you got a free copy to review, gave a positive review for the free copy. Once you’re obligation was fulfilled, you made a retraction video listing a multitude of issues, including CTDs that were possibly unrelated. Then, for some reason, you changed your mind again and said it’s a good product despite the only change being that the CTDs couldn’t be confirmed to be caused by GSX. Just seems super sus to me. I get it, you don’t want to be that guy that gives shitty (honest) reviews and get blackballed but this whole thing comes off as disingenuous.

@@Uhn_Tis_Uhn_Tis_Uhn_Tis_Baby I'm happy being the guy giving shitty reviews when a product is shitty. But in the very first "Why I've uninstalled GSX again" video I've clearly said that I uninstalled because I suspected GSX was the reason my sim crashed to desktop.
This turned out not to be true. Thus I've reinstalled GSX. It's still super buggy, no doubt about it. But I can use it for Pushback, Marshalling and Follow Me's, given the limitations stated in this video. So why not use it for those?

Some clarifications. FSDT is not a "one man show", that's what the user see, because it's me handling support.
There are other people coding, modeling and texturing, but they don't interact with users, and it would be wrong if they did, because they are supposed to DO the improvements people are asking for. I'm the one tasked with user support, and there are so many new messages I had to reply, and there's a limit how many of them I can reply to in a given time. We also have a huge backlog of new forum registrations, which will be processed as soon as the backlog of forum message will be fulfilled, and there is also a backlog of emails to reply to, but each one who sent email to access the forum, has been answered directly, or will be. But while doing all of this, I also need to find time to collect issues, report them to the rest of the team or, depending on the case, do the fix myself, since I'm also one of the coders. Fact is, we weren't prepared to the huge interest in the product, and this "CTD" story, HAS lowered the level of support for everybody, because it generated so much traffic for something that clearly didn't had anything to do with us, and in the end it *actually* lowered our support capabilities, because we had to spend lots of time just explaining WHY the CTD is unrelated to GSX. To users on the forum, to users by email, to users asking for refunds. All bandwidth ( HUMAN bandwidth ), totally wasted, when we might have been working at...improving the *actual* bugs.
To those new to FSDT, GSX has been around for 10 years now, we are not going anywhere and, in fact, sales has been so good these days, that nobody should be worried about bugs not being looked at, or completely new features added, because we surely have the budget for them now. Products that sell well are not left alone, if something is abandoned and left unfinished, it's not because the developers "don't care", it's only because it didn't sell enough.
@Umberto, are you guys going to get around to the backlog of forum registration approvals?
Your own docs say "we have found that the most efficient way to provide customer assistance is through the forum;" However, I am sitting here at 4 days with no approval as a paying customer. Comments on reddit, Twitter, and Discord show I am not alone.
@@omniomi Yes, in normal times, the forum is the most efficient way but it's by no means the only one. There's a support email, which everybody that has used it while waiting his forum account to be approved, has been replied to. Yes, there's a backlog of emails, but it's shorter than the backlog of forum registrations so, it seems at this time, of the TWO support avenues that has always been available, email is currently the more efficient one.

I don't have gsx, I use the msfs live weather and scenery+addon airports, not had a ctd for months, for me it's very stable, dx11 with 737 and Fenix aircraft.

@@sergey79 In the first video I said "The only reason I'm UNinstalling is because I haven't been able to complete a flight without CTD since installing". That statement proved to be incorrect as it wasn't GSX that caused the CTDs. And that's where I'm "backtracking" from. The statements about the bugs still stand where they are.

Some of the statements in the video seem biased and uninformed? In the FSDT forum Umberto has mentioned that he hasn’t slept 48 hours. And he has been active in forum. But in the video here both talk about the developer being not around. Maybe some level of patience and fairness is needed here.
Hummm . If it's a one man company, don't expect support or fixes to come quickly. 1 man team cannot keep the pace imposed by Asobo / Ms teams. ( same happens in DCS with Polychops and SA342 updates, new projects releases , bugs that lives through several dcs versions etc.. ). How can 1 man answer the continuous flow on the forum , work on the product etc..

I had bought gsx right on release it completely crashed my game had to reinstall msfs and of course kicked gsx of my system
Without gsx i had not one single crash now i reinstalled it and ? who can guess ? my game crashing again.
im sick of everybody releasing unfinished and therefore completely overpriced products just to get as much money possible
GSX is not working for me and i cant rechommend it to anybody safe those 37$ and use it for something usefull
Nice vid, but I still miss an apology to Umberto. Fact of the matter is you have jumped to conclusions without any "scientific" proof but Just asumptions. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the review is good, pointing out the bugs, but the whole "I installed it because it causes CTD" was to quick. You both have explained why, and that is good and something I figured out myself, but a simple I am sorry, we jumped to conclusions too fast would have been the gentlemen's way. The storm it caused Umberto was out of proportion and you should realise the responsibility you have as a prominent RUclipsr for out community. Especially because you also test for a software company.

He has also the right to tell us about his experience with the program and he corrects his statements from earlier vids here after he knows about the real issues for the crashes.
Believe me, it wasn't easy seeing that I did that mistake to claim GSX caused the CTDs either. But as new information became available I feel obliged to share it with the community.
I said in the first video that I'll be honest with you guys and that includes admitting mistaken when they happened.
Now GSX is still far from bug free, that's out of question. But it's not causing CTDs, at least not the big CTD wave that we've seen in the last days. And that part had to be corrected as early as possible.
I don't think Umberto was being defensive by saying GSX cannot crash the sim. He made the product, he knows more about it than you do. I think this video is you being defensive.
You went and got someone who made the same mistake as you did to justify your earlier video. That doesn't excuse you.
I understand your reasoning. I understand you didn't make the claims out of malice, it was just ignorance. But you should still have apologized.
If I accused someone of something, for whatever reason I thought was valid, but I was proven wrong, I would apologize. You not doing so says a lot about who you are as a person.

I did four flights, ALL of them crashed to desktop. Then I uninstalled GSX, did two flights and NONE crashed. If that is not reason enough to believe that GSX actually IS the problem, then I don't know what is. At the same time many people come to my first look and Pushback videos and say they have CTDS as well.
How would that be ignorance?
When new information became available that suggested I *might* have been wrong, I went to RUclips to create a new video straight away to indicate the possible mistake. And when that was confirmed I said so straight away (this video).
And I was not the only one who thought that way. That's why we joined up in this vid.

Unacceptable after how long? 2 years of developement? Look at this silly bugs, people goes in or out thrugh windows, etc. This is not whole game but just small app and yet after so much developement they cant make it right. Bitte schau nochmal den Part 1: Ich sagte in dem Video ganz deutlich, dass GSX zwar extrem buggy ist, ich es aber weiter nutzen würde, wenn die CTDs nicht die Benutzung des Simulators unmoglich machen würden. Es ist auch jetzt noch extrem buggy, das sagen wir auch in dem Video. Aber es verursacht eben keine CTDs. Also ist es doch nur logisch, wenn ich daraus die Konsequenz ziehe und es nochmal installiere und dem Ding eine zweite Chance gebe, oder?
Ich habe mir Dein erstes Video nochmal angesehen: Du sagst ganz klar [ab ca. Min. 14:00, im Folgenden paraphrasiert...], dass die Bugs der Hauptgrund waren, und die CTDs der Tropfen, der das Fass zum überlaufen brachte. Dass Du das Potenzial in dem Produkt siehst, es aber in seinem jetzigen Zustand nicht für release-fähig bzw. nutzbar hältst. Was ich im übrigen verstehen kann. Ich habe z.Zt. den gsx-pro link aus meinem Community Odner verbannt, und nutze so nur noch die Jetways. Als xPlane User kannte ich GSX bisher nicht, und war ehrlich ziemlich erschrocken über a) das umständliche Handling - PushbackToolbar ist so viel anwenderfreundlicher - und b) die vielen Bugs.
Was ich verstehe, ist eine Richtigstellung bezüglich der CTDs. Wa ich nicht nicht verstehe ist Dein Zurückrudern bezüglich all der anderen Unzulänglichkeiten. Aber Du wirst Deine Gründe haben...

Are you paid to post these "gsx didn't do it" videos? Did the GSX guys force you to make these movies? I wonder because the amount of attention seems a bit overdone
Just go onto the MSFS forums... It's been acknowledged by Asobo themselves that it is a serverside (liveservices like Live weather and live traffic to be exact) issue. While GSX is not polished, it is NOT responsible for the CTDs
And when have the server issues been resolved? I still had crashes today, roughly 10 hours ago…
The reason I did yesterday's video and this one is because new information became available that contradictedy earlier statement about the CTDs.
In my first video I said that if it wasn't for the CTDS I'd keep GSX installed. Now it turned out that the CTDs were ACTUALLY not caused by GSX. So it's only logical that I install it again, right?
No, I'm not getting paid to do this video. But I said in the first one and it is my opinion in general that being honest about these things is my highest priority. So if I did a mistake - even though one that was impossible to spot at the same - by saying that GSX causes CTDS, then I will correct for that mistake if once it becomes proven that I was wrong.
I find that only fair to both, you the viewers, as well as FSDT as the developers.
Now GSX still is far from a complete and big free program, no doubt about that. As discussed in the videos.
