As the lady mentioned, you don't need to remove the seat if you have places on the sides to attach the straps, it works great. I bought one today and attached it on a RE Meteor 350 without removing the back seat and it is fabulous. I have the Commuter Sport, I search and searched and finally found this bag that is perfect for this bike and installation is extremely simple.
I got tour one on my vuclan s650. Amazing quality. One big thing to keep in mind. You need to have a rack or rear seat to attach them. If your bike have no passenger seat or rack. You will have a tricky time attaching.
I have a zx6r 636. Hard to chose between the lite or sport. In the video, which bag is shown attached to the 636?? Is the sports bag to big for a 636 pillion seat???
Very nice review, I'm looking for something exactly like that. I have a harley davidson cruiser and I need a place to carry a spare helmet or to store my ovn helmet and carry of the bike. Will the touring version fit my bike and are there any other colour options?
problem is when you want to ride without the bag attached you either have to take the seat off which is a pain if it involves undoing bolts or leaving the straps flapping about
@Chaparral Motorsports I want to buy the touring bag for maximum space but every time someone says they are on a true sport bike (R6, R1, zx6, ect ect.) you guess suggest a smaller bag. I ride a GSX-R1000R. I dont care that the back cowl would be completely covered or not, will this bag fit on my bike securley and be 100% usable? Thank you.
Hello, we wouldn't recommend the touring bag since it take up such as large footprint. Also most would probably try to utilize the entire capacity of the bag, thus making it difficult to secure the bag an it's contents to such a confined space as the tail of something like a GSX-R1000R.
Hello, this is the only Nelson Rigg Commuter bag we sell, it will fit a full face helmet. It's measurements are: 14"L x 12"W x 9"H Standard / 14"L x 12"W x 12"H Expanded. we do not sell Piaggio, so we cannot say what would suit your needs. Sorry. Ride safe.
Hey. Trying to purchase one of these to fit a Yamaha 09 R6. However want to make sure it's big enough (in collapsed form) to fit a pair of size 10 construction boots. Which would you recommend?
Hello, to fit that size boots you'd have to probably consider the Commuter Tour bag but that may be too big obtrusive for an R6. You should probably consider a backpack for your boots instead of a tank bag. Icon makes some great tank bags. Here's the backpacks we carry on our website: www.chapmoto.com/motorcycle-accessories/luggage/backpacks/
Thank you for your inquiry. It would work... but would cover the seat and the cowling. The Sport bag will be the best choice fitment wise. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
Purchased the Tour, the side walls are starting to crush because the straps pull from the top. Could have been stitched to the bottom and pull from the bottom. Over time the crush will increase and looks will suffer.

The 636 is sporting the Sport bag in the video. Works perfectly.

Glad it was helpful! No other color options. It should fit.
How about hooking it up to the backrest so I could still have a passenger?
Yup! Totally doable. The straps make it a very versatile bag. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
@@chaparralmotorsports Thanks, that's the selling point for me.
sure thing!

Would you recommend this or the Cortech super 2.0 tail bag? Which one is the better bag?
They are both really good bags.
Hi Guys, Thanks for the video. I am planning to get one of these. I own a ZX6R. In the video at 3:16 is that a sport/medium version?
Hello, yes that is the Sport Bag. Thanks for watching.
problem is when you want to ride without the bag attached you either have to take the seat off which is a pain if it involves undoing bolts or leaving the straps flapping about
Yeah that can be an issue for some riders.
Hi, are the tour and sport can be fitted to the same seats, same way like the lite? Thx.
Thank you for your inquiry Viktor. Yes, all three bags attach the same way. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
Does the sport bag hold a helmet in the expanded form?
Hello, it will not fit a full face helmet.

i have a 2008 yamaha r6 my seat is quite aggressive so i’m wondering if the sport wulf hang off the sides to much
Hello, yeah more than likely.
Hello! I have a moped ' piaggio ciao '
Which size can fit on it and for a helmet medium size. Thanks

Would I be able to fit one of these on a Svartpilen 401? the small one perhaps ?thanks!
I believe so
💖💖 Ordered the Sport👍👍
Nice! They are well put together bags for sure!
I have the sport, I love it for my DR650
yeah they really are great bags. Thanks for watching.
Mmm…I wonder if the Lite version fits the split seat of my Honda NC750XDCT…..any suggestions folks..thank you
Hello, yeah most likely.
Would the expanded sport fit a medium or smaller full face helmet?
Hello, no it would not.
I have large size helmet, do you think the sport model would fit with it?
Hi Rowel, I don't think your fullface helmet would fit in the Sport. You'd have to step up to the Commuter Touring Tailbag
Hi, is the rain cover attached or loose
Hello, it's loose.
Would the tour bag be the correct size for a Yamaha FJR
yeah, any of them would be a good fit.
A quick question what do you recommend for Honda CBR600rr 2021 please get back to me
Hello, I would say the Nelson Rigg Commuter Lite or Commuter Sport bag, both should fit your bike.
Hello! Great product there. Would the touring bag be too big for a Kawa Ninja 650?
Thank you for your inquiry. It would work... but would cover the seat and the cowling. The Sport bag will be the best choice fitment wise. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
@@chaparralmotorsports Sounds good. Thank you!
Do they work with seat cowls I have a rear cowl on my bmw s1000r
They are designed to sit on the flat surface of the passenger seat.
@@chaparralmotorsports thank you
Can they be installed on a rack instead of the back seat?
Hello, yes they can.
Does this work with a seat that lifts up but does not come off? Honda nc750x?
I guess it would all depend on the seat size, the bag size and placement of both.
What’s a good size for Yamaha FZ 750 1985 bag?
Hello, probably the Lite or the Sport.
Hey guys , will the biggest bag fit a wr250r or should i go with the medium one?
Hello, we would recommend the Lite for that bike.
@@chaparralmotorsports thank you for your answer.
Would you think that the medium one will work aswell?
Can the middle bag fit a full face helmet?
Hello, no, the Tour is better suited for a full face helmet.
Purchased the Tour, the side walls are starting to crush because the straps pull from the top. Could have been stitched to the bottom and pull from the bottom. Over time the crush will increase and looks will suffer.
Great feedback Neville. We have shared your info with Nelson Rigg. Thanks for watching. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
I wondered that but I would assume you dont have to pull the straps super tite but I need the Sport or the Lite also considering Oigo for my H2 SX SE
How can I fit one to a 2021 Vulcan S SE with single seat
Hello, you could add a Kawasaki Solo Luggage rack and mount the bag on top of that.
Do you think the Commuter Lite can fit a rain suit?
It depends on the suit thickness/material. It could be pretty tough.
Would a full face fit in the sport size?
Hello, not it would not fit.
Lifetime warranty is usually the life expectancy of the product. Is it a true lifetime warranty? Or is it a product life expectancy warranty?
It is the life expectancy of the product--but the manufacturer may make accommodations, it will be up to them.
Can the commuter hold a helmet?
Hello, the Commuter Tour can hold a full face helmet. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@chaparralmotorsports what about the sport if its fully exapanded
