My game never freezes in Phasmophobia, and I have a 3060, so I'm pretty sure your 3090 is fine. It likely has something to do with the game files. Reinstalling the game is probably not enough. You'll likely need to clean out the registry files and app data folder if there is one before reinstalling. You can also try reinstalling your drivers. Like.. removing them completely and then reinstalling them. There's something fishy going on, and its not the specs, nor the game; although, there might perhaps be a way to fix it within the game for the developers, but probably not.
It just keeps amazing me how skilled insym is

Getting the Gold Trophy is easily the most fun I've ever had playing this game solo. I'm really looking forward to trying the challenge with all the new equipment to see how much of a difference it makes.
Gonna miss this version, always keeps you in your toes when you play it-you are at the mercy of the ghost being easy to find or..

Everytime Insym says "Its a polter" I get this weird smirk on my face and Im like "naaah" :D every.single.time. its been like an obsession of Insym for a lot of time
I have experimented with ai in unity and I can confirm that the "tank turning" is how it works, It is locked at a fixed turning speed. But the ai doesn't stop while rotating, it just rams into the wall until it gets unstuck. I have not yet experimented with why the turning speed isn't always high, but it probably is because of 'over turning'.
I think the smudge stick is already strong as it is. I think what the devs should do is, keep this smudge stick as the middle tier. Then the lower tier is either a smudge like the old one where only the start and end works, or one that is just a small single instance where if you use it too early you are dead. And the high tier one should be something like an electronic smudge stick that you can recharge in the truck. This way, you don't get a stronger benefit during hunts, but you do get the benefit of never running out of smudge sticks, as long as you can go back to the truck.
I'm pretty sure we've already seen the new smudge stick. If you look on the shelves in the lobby of the game there's a whole bunch of models for items we don't yet have, and in the area of smudge sticks it shows that our current smudge stick is on the far left (the cheapest tier), a new but similar looking one in the middle, and the far right is a metal lantern ball on a chain. The fact that it's so large and hanging on a chain makes me feel like it could be placed down and burned for a longer period of time, allowing you to essentially protect an area for the duration of a hunt. Could possibly even be used for things such as trapping the ghost in a room by having it placed at the entrance to the room. But who knows, maybe it's just a reusable one.

Hey Insym! I think the reason why ghosts always sound like they are throwing so much in Apocalypse 3, is because of their 150 speed, so they are faster they are able to reach to items and throwing them every split second on a 50% chance, so maybe that's why it sounds like they throw so much is because of their 150 speed? If it is a Poltergeist it would have sounds twice as much as the normal 150 speed throwing, which would probably be absolutely insane.
When I saw the freezing breath, I was like doing the Leonardo Decaprio whistle and then point meme 😂

If Apocalypse challenge was just getting the ghost right at this difficulty and nothing else, it would easy enough. The hardest thing about Apocalypse will always be the side objectives and photos. Especially the 3 star ghost photo which is going to be almost impossible to get during a hunt with the 150% vs 50% speed. So needing to get an event with a camera up, while constantly under threat of a hunt from a super speedy ghost... yeah that's why I don't have the trophy.
I just hate getting the ghost photo on this mode, so rough

Your weird freezes remind me of the time I had a faulty HDD and my games sometimes would freeze for like 3-5 seconds even though they were not installed on the HDD. So you might want to make sure all your disks are healthy Insym

When I first started playing Phasmo (right after the Tempest update), my game froze every time an event or hunt started. It made the game unplayable because by the time my game would unfreeze, I'd already be dead. I don't know what fixed it, but it stopped happening over time. The freezes looked just like yours, except they only happened when an event or hunt started.

I helped my friend to get more xp yesterday, we went to Sunny Meadows and my friend waited at the door. I went to the church, used monkey paw’s wish for knowledge and… well, died. 😂 That way we got one evidence crossed out and I continued investigating as a ghost. My friend got soooo much xp in a short time and she just sat there with a smudge stick.. 🦔
We just used apocalypse’s custom settings and added the monkey paw. 😎 I just wanted to help her get the level 2k !

I didn't all 3 of my trophies separately. Bronze to an oni. Silver to a Goryo. Gold after trying 1000 times, and resetting. finally got a deo in the female wash room and just ran with it. Got it with Para mic crusifix and emf. I almost had the gold to a Thaye, but died getting the ghost photo

The freezing breath is the ghost breath not player breath. You can see it slightly in the distance after the first smudge stick is used

I don't get the freeze on my PC, mine runs smoothly thankfully, it's weird how yours freezes so bad when you load in.

I've come to a conclusion that Onryo and Goryo are bugged between themselves. I've had a few Goryos that CHANGE FAVORITE ROOMS? (WHAT?) and was behaving exactly like an Onryo, blowing candles and burning a crucifix, and had Onryos that wouldn't touch candles or crucifixes and DO NOT change favorite room 🐒
Day 3 of asking Insym if he could play paranormica on roblox (fun if your new to phasmophobia tbh, does have a nice jump scare while entering too but is pretty old and doesn't have all the ghosts, only like 10? Haven't played in a while)
I'm brand new to Phasmophobia but at 11:55 this confused me tremendously, where is the supposed freezing breath? I'm wondering how he so quickly knew that the ghost was a Hantu yet there seems to be no freezing breath. Does it come from the ghost or the player?
It should come from ghost, in previous game it was easy to see, but I don't see it here either
