Think I'm going to wait for a full Bond 4k Collection before picking this up, since it's the 60th anniversary next year and most of the movies already have 4k transfers.
@@C--A That's how I feel, given that I got the 50th anniversary blu-ray set. I would only upgrade Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Living Daylights, and Goldeneye (my favourite) to 4K. For Craig's films, I only upgraded to 4K recently, so I got No Time to Die for him.
I hope when they put out the other Daniel Craig Bond movies on 4K again they update them to Atmos/DTS:X . Still waiting on my copy of No Time To Die from Amazon.
You are dead on in your analysis of the sound quality, there was two instances during this film were i had to pause playback because the audio was so immersive that it sounded like it was originating in the room.
I've been going back and forth on getting a 4K BluRay player. The thing I can't get around is the formats. If I buy a player that only supports HDR10, does that mean my choice of films/discs is also limited? Or do all players play all discs, with certain attributes and features suspended? I'm all set for Dolby Vision, but if I commit to a DV player, will I be able to also watch discs in other formats? I assume they all play all discs, just with the HDR component disabled if it's not supported?
At a base level all players that support hdr support HDR10 (static metadata). From there players can support HLG, Dolby vision (dynamic metadata), and/or HDR10+ (dynamic metadata). Typically if a player doesn’t support a dynamic metadata format, it will read the static metadata (HDR10) so you still get HDR.

That’s a good plan!
I only pick up the good Bond movies on disc from each of the Bond actors. Still waiting for Goldeneye on 4k blu ray, Peirce Brosnan best one.

I can’t imagine any Dolby Vision capable player wouldn’t support regular HDR10

Ist bond movie in Atmos.
To woke for me..
You're just rambling on trying to bash the movie, and like it at the same time. saying nothing.
No shit. There was some things he liked about it, and some things he did not....... That does not equate to saying nothing.
