This video is 2 years old for me and so far it has covered everything I need in tarkov, I got the game 1 week ago and I have learnt the basics and many tricks from your playthrough. And to top it all off, I'm only on episode 4. I'm excited to watch the rest of this amazing playthrough.
Man with this level of selfreading (when you can traslate you thoughts in words in that smooth flow) kinda awesome. My thoughts when i play looks like "huh ded body lets check his pockets omg shots is it near me where is extract my hands are wet like im in swimming pool this is the guy or a bush or whatever" and so on

I like how you thoroughly secure an area before looting a body. I've seen so many people get 3rd party and die while trying to loot.

I’ve been playing Tarkov for a pretty decent amount of time now, and I’ve managed to get myself to level 60 and I can say this video is very very amazing for newer players. The way he breaks everything down will for sure improve your gameplay and skills if you actually listen to what he’s saying. Good job man. This breakdown is amazing for new players and not so new players alike.
It makes such a difference when you literally know where everything is and have such good bearings on every map!

hey dude, just started playing this game, this series has helped me out so much. Im smashing through my quests, picking up 4-5 kills and getting some good loot. only lvl 9 now but im learning so much from this series
Just found your channel. Man, you have a lot of good insight. From routes, how to loot and even AOT. Most of all you know when to hold it and know when to fall back. The biggest things I’ve learned from you is how to rotate and greed gets you killed. Even though these vids are old they are still relevant.

Hello Karmakut, i just started EFT like a week ago, and i just wanted to thank you, you've been very helpful, i watched all of your 5 min overview's of the maps, and they've been really helpful to me. Been watching day 1, 2, 3 and i'm halfway through day 4 of this series. It's very good, i recommend all new players that you watch this man's tarkov videos, i've learned so much about the game's basics in the last 2 days. Anyways, keep doing what you are doing, you are very good at it! Hope to see more content like this in 2021!

Watching these videos has been such a good learning experience for me. I picked up Tarkov 2 days ago and this series has taught me so much! Im nowhere near as good at this but improving every round i go into (unless i get shot on spawn)
21:23 so true, im new to tarkov, i did a pmc run with a mp5 on factory, got lucky, did 13 kills, time was running out, i figured i could afford to loot the bodys i killed cause the map has been quiet for a long time, i was strippung guns and stuff, when at the last body before living i got caught by a scav bot.
Unlucky, but lesson learned

Dude i absolutely love this series like i started with tarkov a few days ago and just to watch you play and give your thoughts i really could fix up bad habits and learn how tf you can utilize shotssounds to really closely analyze where the enemy is

The reality of it is though that even with a new account you have a massive advantage over the others just with the knowledge you possess of playing the game for a good while.

Just started playing this game (I'm always a late adopter to pre-release games, ever since Day-Z I decided I would wait for games to be in Beta at least), this has been a super helpful series, the way I move in combat has completely changed, I don't get flanked anywhere near as often, I move with a lot more confidence. Took me 5 raids to realize you could SCROLL DOWN while looking at a downed player/scavs inventory, lol, not sure what I was thinking before (probably in panic mode with a heart rate of 120 causing me to not think/use my eyes), but I bet anyone watching me loot through a scope thought I was using macros because of how fast I'd drop/loot/move. I also used to play EVE, started way back in 2004, sunk about 6-7 years into that game all told (several extended breaks throughout), kind of lost interest when it went pay to win. Was thinking about checking it out again however.

There's a lot that goes into decision making on Tarkov. It depends on the situation. How many enemies are there. Your position. Your loadout. Your health. Your ammo count. Your connection. Your aiming. A lot. Good video!
This is really helpful to me. I’m lvl 35 but only played interchange a few times. Completely skipped over ragman but now I’ve got items in raid I need to get rid of. Now I’m having to go back and do big sale and this map scares tf outta me.
Earlier I was playing real slow getting lost in the garage. I somehow wandered to Texco and down the halls. Ran into a player in an across store and dropped him. He was squaded with at least another in same store. So I doubled back around a corner and got silently eliminated from way down the mall corridor. No idea what was happening but I was loud af stomping on wood so my fault.
The VEPR is gonna get even better when the suppressor comes out for it. Thats the only reason i still dont mess with it as much as I would like when leveling.

Tried Tarkov when it first game out and found it too hard so I quit playing. I found this series the other day and I cant stop watching and its even made me reinstall the game and give it another go (so great videos!) However, after playing the game all afternoon, I died probably 20 times and ended up getting one kill on a scav; most of my deaths happened within the first minute. Not joking, lots of times I would even die within 30 seconds. Safe to say your videos got me to try the game again and thats a win for the video. But I think I am just gonna accept that the game is just not for me and continue to enjoy the videos. Keep em coming.

Holy dang I have that exact Primary Arms scope on my IRL rifle. The reticle is waaayyyy smaller in real life but it's crazy to see it in a video game. If they did the scope true to form, that's the ACSS reticle that's made for off-hand distance and ranging. The dot on either side of the center point is for leading a target moving at jogging pace at 100 yards. Don't know if it helps, but give it a shot if you get a chance.
In hindsight should’ve kept the 30 durability lvl 4 rig then grab 6 dur zhuk. I normally choose durability over armor if it’s that big a difference

I have to reorganize my stash once every 3-4 raids, I just get the adrenaline rush going and jump raid to raid to raid, dropping everything into any space it will fit in.

@Karmakut With that optic mount, you should be able to switch between the iron sights and scope without taking it off. I could be wrong, but I've seen other streamers swap between iron sights and scope when the mount is raised like that.
Really like this vids and how you explain why you do what you do, helps us new players out a lot!

46:17 I synced up the two kills on your post-match kill screen, and it turns out you actually killed someone with this burst!!! I couldn't spot the body as you were running around though... Turns out you encountered a 2-stack and just dropped the first guy without ever even knowing it lmao

i gotta say when i heard cheap budget build for the hunter i was wanting to try it out so i ended up finding one on a player and threw on a pso scope i actually like it but i ended up dying with it but i managed to reach level 10 with it (i may or may not have clapped a level 51-70 player at 238m on woods) i was stoked so when i went to the market to pick up another they wanted 60k... i guess its just late season side effects

For a new player (and a pretty one at that, you’ve already just about doubled my level...) what would you recommend working on to help you get better at seeing people? Just playing more to get the hang of it better? And what’s a short list of items I should be looking out for, either for quests later or for monetary purposes at the time? There’s a whole load of room in my stash that is exclusively made up of random things I saw in a raid and decided that I need to fill my bag with but have no idea the usefulness of xD
sell everything! you will start to recognise soon enough which loot is worth taking. Quest items are specific at least at the start (they will spawn wherever you have to go). Most items are useful to building the hideout, which is I believe for later lvl's, cause for sure you have to invest a good bunch of roubles.
Evan Sazanides ty for the advice :) I’m pretty tempted to restart my account at the moment haha. I pretty much wasted all my starting resources and money so I’m trying to make due with like 9k at the moment xD would you suggest selling stuff to the traders? Or through the flea? As far as quests go, I’m still on my first ones from prapor and therapist iirc so I’ve only got to find salewa and some shotguns and hand them in (I’ve been avoiding buying the items cause I’m pretty much poor haha xD) I definitely wasted a good bit of my starting cash on my hideout even though it’s not high enough to do anything useful or really be worth what I’ve invested in it so that’s probably not helped me either too much honestly :p are there any particularly annoying quest items you have to store up that I should keep an eye out for? Through the gamepedia I’ve learnt that the Vase and the Wooden Horse are Apparently pretty rare, but outside of that I’ve got no real clues :p xD any advice would be much appreciated.
@@dylanshandley1246 lvl 14 here and I made the same mistake you did investing money in hideout early. I am at 6 mil ish now but only because I always broke down my weapons kept a few mods and sold EVERYTHING else without hesitation on the flea. I only kept backpacks, rigs, armor, helmets, and weapon mods. Unluckily for you flea is locked until you reach lvl 15 so your only option is the vendors. Just make sure you're selling to the correct vendor as they all have different pricing. Doing this will actually help you in the long run in leveling up your vendors as they require a certain amount of money and PMC lvl in order to upgrade to the next tier. I have actually been selling to the vendors since lvl 11 bc I need to spend a certain amount of money before they are upgraded. Hope this makes sense and helps!
Edit: I would keep all keys until lvl 15. Actually thinking about it paracord, diesel fuel and conditioner, along with other super rare items might be worth keeping to sell on the flea when you're lvl 15 too!
Clickity -_- Klow I’m only like lvl 6 iirc :p. I’ve got a few weapons in my stash that are pretty well modded and the last raid I did I got a 5.7 a kitted out saiga and a scoped m700 that I was planning on stripping and selling (probably not the 5.7 though, too useful to get rid of when I may need to resort to pistol only runs in the immediate future xD). I figured that different traders buy things at different rates, I play lots of RPG’s with economies built in them to try and resemble the real world so different people will buy the same item off you for different prices so I’ve developed the habit of checking all available vendors to try and find the best price for things :p. I know about the levelling of the traders too (after watching a couple streamers fresh start streams but all well xD I got there in the end haha) and have been trying to level them for what feels like an age now ;_;. Has that update gone live yet? I knew they were planning on changing it but I was on earlier today and it was still open to me and my level 6 self. Outta curiosity, what maps would you suggest for a new player just getting a hang of things?

Aah Eve-Online.. I played that game from 2004 to 2014 :x It's such a huuuge time sink of a game xD I still want to play it but it's like a job next to my job so... that ain't gonna happen any day soon xD
