Great review as always, but I can’t stand the Fahim disrespect 😭😭😭 please Professor, at least check out Shot Clock King vols. 1 & 2, they’re entirely produced by Nicholas Craven
This video feels like an elderly James Bond squeezing a video review in between missions. You constantly looking away from the camera looks like you're looking out for enemies/security.
as usual, you amazes me with your music picks. NDL VOL. 2 is an absorbing sequel with spectacular sampling, but misses the bullseye with some underdeveloped lyricism & fresh song structure. but as usual mach keeps killing it and i’m amazed by craven production as well. Craven gives us these smooth, drumless beats and Mach and Fahim absolutely killed them. Cold Milk, N*ggas Sooooo Good & Olajuwon are my top three tracks of off NDL2. Cheers from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
The last track is a sample of an Alla Pugacheva song called “yes”/“да” She’s saying, in Russian: “отвечу взглядом: да да да” which translates to: “I’ll answer with my gaze, yes yes yes”
@@ryalgh yes this the first place the Russian equivalent of the RIAA is checking for uncleared samples. Everything in Russia is pirated and stolen, no one cares
"This is the best dump Mach and Fahim have taken" quite a way to put that😂 ik you haven't heard it but Dollar Menu 3 is their best Collab imo. I hope that releases on streaming sometime so more ppl can hear it.
I'd love to see you review Tha God Fahim's last solo project, or even his next one. He is one of the few rappers that spreads positivity in most of his work.
agreed! one of my favorites. great flow, impeccable work ethic, student and pusher of the game, immaculate producer as well, witty, clever, the whole deal. but i must say, i get such a bad taste in my mouth when he uses homophobic language. it is so upsetting coming from such a great mc and writer. i chose to look past it, for better or for worse. great artist.
Love the channel, love the review, but oh dear... the ignorance towards Left Lane Didon was a little painful, I must say. I'm surprised you haven't heard of him before, given all the hip-hop that you listen to. May I make a suggestion? If you have half an hour spare, then listen to 'Dump Life', by Left Lane Didon, Fahim and Jay NiCE. I regard it as a classic, and it really showcases Lefty's talent. As an artist, he deserves more recognition, especially from the cooler reviewers such as yourself. By the way, thanks for calling out the Gary V skit. I was cringing too, and thought exactly along the same lines as yourself. With my upbringing, I do find it quite insulting listening to him say that kind of stuff, and so I tend to skip that part.
Hey, Professor Sky! I wonder if you've noticed how much attention Mach gives to Jewdaism. He raps about Israelite girl, refers to Jewdaic culture here and there. In he's nterview he called YOD his family (and YOD is a Ukrainian Jew), and he also featured in the YOD's video "JewTang", where they both visit some Jewish family for a holiday diner. Isn't it interesting? He's probably married to some YOD's relative and cares a lot about her culture.
I had the exact same reaction to the gary vee sample. Gave me a weird kind of disappointed feeling for the rest of the record. Shame when you relate so much but then disagree. I forgot about it after a while though
IVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THIS FOR QUITE SOME TIME

It's a reference to a young Jeezy verse on Kanye's-amazing

Love that you review this music professor. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I was really looking forward to this review, but damn Skye... Its so hectic it almost gave me anxiety.
Nice! Please continue Mach hommy stuff
I think the sodium line was other rappers being "salty" at his success.
Love this review the best!! Love your speed
"Hey guys, let me talk about this project but I don't have time to talk about it"
Hope folks don’t miss “tertiary dimensionalism got you caught up in the”
Mach-hommy and tha god fahim are such a good combo and I believe this is their best showing yet
This is one of tha albums you have to take time to react with love and time...
Love your reviews man, great work!
Professor Skye! I love your reviews. Would love to hear your thoughts on the debut release of Model/Actriz

@@alexsolli6680 What do you think of 'Go Left!'?
The wife kicked you for playing the weird creole rapper too much? Just kiddin great review as always
maybe i was too naive but i saw the happyness/gary vee skit as a joke
16:40 That Da-da-da thing for me was obvious russian, because it sounds like soviet LPs from the 60s. It means "Yes-yes-yes".
Oh, and (I just listened it through again) the sample starts with russian phrase "Я ищу взглядом", which can be translated as "I search with my gaze".
Cool, thanks
Try Mickey Diamond's Bangkok Dangerous series of EPs
Thank your professor, terrific review
You gotta do more fahim
This project is 🔥🔥🔥

Review the new Xiu Xiu
da da da is russian sample that surprised me when i hear it)))
I could not finish the album after i heard Gary Vee's voice, i immediately turned it off
valid
Its pronounced Left Lane Did-on. Bro you can sound so disrespectful and ignorant sometimes. Lefty is an amazing rapper.
Tha God Fahim x Nicholas Craven album is better
I had to turn it off after the garbage Gary Vee interlude, just so stupid. Really sad cause I love Hommy but ugh it's just so yuck
Exactly same
yeah man
glad english isn't my main language so i did manage to get past that on my first listen
it’s just so out of place, but without it it’s a normal dump
@@chubbs9340 well you missed out on a great album. i agree it was cringe but it’s not difficult to skip lol

First time I heard it i thought it was just there ironically, like the “you can’t voodoo your way out of this” one
