TBF she was great at solos for Grailfront already, mighty chains just make her that much better. I'd say Caenis is the one who graduated from anchor to soloist
@@Pomho1812 don't get me wrong Barghest is permanently on my immortal team as my failsafe anchor but the mighty chain update gave her consistency on her uptime for soloing.
A small -- but relevant -- consideration is the fact that the mighty chain makes Append 1 significantly more valuable for soloing/last stands, because Extra Card Effectiveness stacks multiplicatively with first-card bonuses. Of course, it depends on how good the servant's Extra Card actually is, but I think in some particular edge cases it might actually dethrone Mana Loading in terms of usefulness (Barghest, possibly)
Extra Card bonus has always been significantly better than Mana Loading for solo unless it's a hyper specific niche scenario where you need to rush a turn 1 NP. Reloading NP however is typically trivial in a solo when you're probably tanking lots of hits.
@@solitare4602 Incorrect. I mean, that may be her "canon" height but Barghest is like Gamagoori from Kill La Kill. Her only height is "Bigger than you."
Mighty chains make the BB hand locks FAR better, i no longer have to dread her quick card pulling down the chains, and can instead, generally get far stronger chains than before, especially post skill 1 buff. Now if only they dropped the cd on slill 2 by 1.
Having a team of 2030s with Mighty Chain (even non-MLB) is so much fun. Guaranteed 50%+ on every card, but as long as you start with a Quick, that's 70%+. Unga-bunga to everyone!
I was hoping you'd come out with a guide for Mighty Chains because everywhere else kept giving conflicting recommendations. We can always count on Fino for help.
What about servants like Super Orion and Van Gogh though? I mean their NPs are ART but its a supportive NP. When soloing with S. Orion for example, should I NPQA to gather np charge or NPBQ to do mighty brave chain? (Or NPBA to damage and hopefully gain some charge)
This has me pondering a little regarding servants who, say, get more charge off Buster cards with an Arts starter than with their Arts proper, such as Summer Nobu. Gotta play around and see if one of Mighty combos is any better, or if ABB is still the play if you want to prioritize charge.
Thanks, Fino! Random question, I know she's not good, but do mighty chains help Summer Kiyohime at all? She has two 6 hit buster cards, so it sounds, on paper, pretty solid.
Probs juat QBA since lancers have good arts gain but bad quick. Her buster is slightly better than her quick so if the quick will crit and the buster will not then BQA. Itll always depend on where stars are alocated
Kiyolancer has some questionable cards, but the usual two combos should still be a good place to start. If nothing else, she'd appreciate the flat crit chance.
For single Van Gogh, I like BQA or NPBQ. For double Gogh, you'll sometimes be able to make an Arts chain with one of their NPs and that's probably worth doing.
I am a dummy and I appreciate this video. However, I'm left wondering if I should always prioritize Mighty Brave Chains instead of Same-Color Brave Chains. For Solo/ Anchor Servants like Hercules, it seems like you should prioritize Buster Brave Chains for damage over Mighty Brave Chains for access to his NP.
The one thing I still need clarification on is mighty brave chain vs buster brave chain, I'm assuming buster brave would still be more damage? Assuming that you're in a situation where you don't need the extra charge or stars, like closing out a fight
In a single turn vacuum, I'd say you're more likely to get better damage from a buster brave chain. So yeah, the last turn of a fight is a good place for a BBB chain. However, the various mighty chains let you generate resources that you can then cash out with a buster brave chain, so you should use them until you reach that point.
Yes. Not only are you getting damage up from first card bonus, but damage up from the buster chain itself, and extra damage from the two additional buster cards replacing Q and A. Likewise, and Arts Chain is better than BQA Mighty for NP Gen, and Quick Chain is better than ABQ for Star Gen. Mighty is the correct orders though is above average for all 3, and can enable more crits where Arts and Buster Chain wouldn't because of the Quick Card buff.
That one's going to depend on your buffs and crit stars. You can use buster chains to cash out stars or meet a damage check, but the resource cycle from mighty chains generally gives you better results over time.
@@espurrseyes42 It makes sense, thanks! Damage in exchange for more NP Gain and stars sounds reasonable. I have to admit I'm liking the extra layer of possibilities offered by the new cards [the reality is that I can finally make those 80-90 % card crit]

Thanks for the answer and the availability!
No, the cash out value from Buster Brave chain is still the highest damage sequence you can do. Use your best judgement as to whether increased resource gain or upfront damage is your win condition.
Leave it to Lazystaff to implement battle system and Quick functionality upgrades that still primarily benefit Arts and Buster. I've always said that Quick needs something like bonus crit functionality that surpasses Arts and Buster crits, allowing it to become the face card-centric color; it has no NP effect whatsoever and that's how it functions already, just badly.
Do you guys have any weird chains you like to do for specific servants? Drop them here.
QAA for Muramasa
S1, then Q-Q-NP for Okita.
QAB for Blackbeard. Anytime there’s a Blackbeard quick card. I use it for the silly run animation
@@ThermalVoid why qqnp when npqq would most likely refund her np?
BAQ most of the time, I prefer to crit as often as possible
Quick: now we are equals
Buster and arts: get in front of the line dork.

Sometimes I use BQA chains on Super Orion to conserve crit damage stacks. Glad there's actually some benefit to doing it that way now.
