- Some people use the word Bass when referring to me (sorry, inside joke), but in this case, the Bass ruled the whole song! Not to take away from the rest of the girls of course! (esp. since the main riff was pretty complicated to play while singing/rapping at that level). But man, it feels like every song I hear from VoB just gets better and better. Please, tell me what to react to next!

Hi Dad, this was done just 2 months before Ukraine War. They were born and raised in traditional muslim culture, learned and practice music from zero at 14 yrs old, even they didn’t know what drum set is looked like. Hello again MK and thanks for more VOB! This song was first played in 2017, written around the time of the beginning of the Rohingya genocide by the Myanmar military. The "Mrs Nobel" reference is probably for Aung San Suu Kyi, former Nobel Peace Prize winner, who insisted (at the International Court of Justice in The Hague no less) that what foreign observers have called an organized, years-long campaign of atrocities against the Rohingya has been exaggerated and misconstrued, whether out of malice or just ignorance. She did not even use the word “Rohingya,” adhering to her government’s stance that no such ethnic group exists. Here's the lyrics: Stop war, we hate war x 3

And the lyrics are all in English, just done fast and with an accent, so sometimes it's hard to tell! If you do Age Oriented next, you'll swear it's not in English! 😄 English is their third language, after Sundanese and Bahasa Indonesia, making them all the more remarkable! ♥
Wow, I'll need to go back and listen with the lyrics! And thanks for the heads up on Age Oriented; I'll try to have those lyrics next to me so I can appreciate it in real time :-) The number of international musicians who sing in English when it's not their first or second language is amazing, and often times I think they speak better English than native English speakers.

When that something comes easily and without effort, the "privileged" aspect rears its ugly head and you have a tendency to lose the depth of meaning and importance that should be associated with that thing...
