Hi bro, I want to know how does the line lay between the two reels. I have great confidence with Shimano reel. The reason I ask is if the line lay is perfect, it will eliminate wind knots more effectively. I am looking at the daiwa but am a bit sceptical.
@@seanleau so I talk about that a bit in the middle of this vid, the shimano infinity loop line management systems lays line more evenly than any other reels I’ve ever used, but surprisingly the certate casts further and out of the two reels, only the shimano gave me a wind knot. I would have thought the shimanos would have done better with that new system, but the daiwas seem to cast further and avoid knots more. I always thought daiwa was full of it with how they make their spools lay line top-heavy by design, but it seems like they know what they’re talking about in my experience!

The certates drag is louder, and I might be imagining it but I feel like I get a good bit more casting distance with the certate.
