In the head to head qualifying battle, George Russell has beaten Lewis 7 to 2! At the Canadian GP Lewis looked on the verge to get the best of Russell but he got beaten two laps before the chequered flag!

We see at the end of the season but Mercedes has been doing a horrible job with strategy especially the last couple races when it comes to Sir. Lewis side of the garage. Mercedes is also not fighting for a championship so it really doesn’t matter if who wins in qualifying ..
@@Porschelegnds qualifying always matters between teammates but Hamilton can get away with it given his resume!
As for strategies, true the team dropped the ball on few occasions, thats the downfall of not having a competitive car and being in the mix constantly

It matters if they had a competitive car but if you have Sir. Lewis doing all the testing and George just benefiting from the results it doesn't matter because you are not getting a fair comparison. I will wait until next year and see if Ferrari will continues to improve their car to decide if Sir. Lewis has lost any form. Plus you can tell last weekend Sir. Lewis was the faster driver all weekend if Mercedes had not messed with his tier warmers in qualifying and botched the race strategy with the tire selection with the race..
It matters bcz years down the road pundits & fans won’t remember or remind ppl if the car was competitive, you can see them now all they talk about is stats regardless of the circumstances that took place.
As for Mercedes, do u think there’s a foul play within the team to favour russell over lewis this season?!
