1.In case of DC circuit there exists only one term power and in case of AC there are two terms (one is the Pavg and other containing the frequency component). The average value of the frequency containing term is 0.So, the useful power is only the constant average value. This average power exists for both AC and DC but in case of AC circuit this value is equal to the real power or active power and this value is equal to the power in DC network. 2. We calculated the value of average power as cos(phase differnce). So if we donot take the conjugate in the current term real power will not match with the average value term. So to make the value equal of the real power and the average value we should take the conjugate sign..
Avg power is dc powe bcz there is no time dependency, freq=0... Reactive powers is not useful power but it is useful to carry the power from generation to distribution side... required positive sign ..so reactive power need to be positive ..that's way taking positive...I have little bit confusion in complex power . .waiting for next lecture..
Pavg is DC power as it does not vary with time. but if we talking about instantaneous power then that will be AC power with frequency twice that of Supply.
Active power is dc power as it has no time varying component. The conjugate is taken to get proper sign of active and reactive power. Also if conjugate is not taken then it will be apparent power not complex power.
Since avg power is not changing with time or phase it is dc power Whereas complex power has conjugate because it need to be satisfied with the derivation we performed if we don't take conjugate leading and lagging power doesn't come as it should so to make calculation easy we developed a power as complex which doesn't actually exist but satisfy all equation of power in ac circuits
App.power gives= magnitude of total power , Complex power =magnitude with angle (real & reactive power). Avg power=DC power ,power frequency oscilate in time period this part give total power zero ,P avg=vrms irms cos(angle bw V&I )
Average power is ac when there has phase angle difference between v and i. Dc when same phase. Conjucate use to make v and i angle difference .if vi normal multiplying then we get angle addiction which is not required .
Sir if it has real magnitude so it is definitely dc power because ac power avg value is always zero and as you told that it is also called active power, but if it is AC power so it must have active and reactive components but you mentioned only active and not reactive power that's mean it is dc power. THANK YOU
In case of inductive load the nature of the inductor is current will always lags behind the supply voltage in case of inductor so the phase angle in case of current is negative so it will I at an angle of - phase angle but it will absorb reactive power means reactive power is positive so to satisfy these we have to take the positive sign.In case of capacitive load the current will always lead the supply voltage so the phase angle in current is positive. But in case of reactive power it will deliver the reactive power so according to that it will negative so that we have to take the conjugate sign.
1. average power as a constant power and in this power frequency is zero then as dc power (in dc frequency is zero) 2. to write in standard format of p=vicosk where k=angle between v & i.

DC power means the power delivered by dc source and the AC power means the power delivered by ACsource. Since the AC power contains two values i.e time dependent and time independent. To find the overall effect of Instataneous power over a period of time, we find the average value of instataneous power & only the time independent factor comes into play as the time dependent factor vaue is zero. So the power is rms value of the AC power
Avg is sumthing dat we calculate for time varying quantities. Avg of any dc quantity is the quantity itself, so avg for any dc quantity is just meaningless. So Pavg, or P rms is calculated for ac quantities, though these come out to be fixed numbers. The reason why we take conjugate is just to get the idea of nature of loads, ( leading, lagging, or UPF), or in broader sense, the nature of reactive power. i.e: by comparing the phase angles of current and voltage waveforms, otherwise if both the angles wud have been conventionally +ve, it wudn't have been possible.
1. Active power is the average power means it doesn't vary w.r.t time so it is a dc power 2. As inductor always absorb +Q reactive power but current through it is lagging so if we directly multiply vrms and Irms(having negative sign)then Q will be negative which is not true. So it means to find Q in inductor I angle should be positive But in nature it is lagging So we take conjugate of that lagging current and it becomes +ve. This is my explanation to the question asked Please correct if I said anything wrong.
@@GeniqueEducationTeam DC power doesnt have a concept of phase in it. So that is why Pavg here is AC power. I am just guessing. I am not able to connect further. Please correct me.
Sir in leading and laging concept between two quantities. when we take a quantity as reference and rotataes it in anti clockwise direction this quantity (reference) leads by some angel But when in same conditions we just choose clock wise direction the same quantity (reference) lags by some other angle Are both things right or there are some misconception Plaese tell me I will be thankful to you 🙏👏
No, conjugate is used to get the difference of phase angles of voltage and current when they are multiplied together to get power. If you directly multiplied them without taking conjugate then their phase angles would add up which would be wrong.
If we don't take the conjucate of "I" when we calculate the loads of inductor and capacitor Inductor delivers reactive power and capacitor absorbs reactive power and that's impossible or wrong.
