As an 80’s girl Warrant was amazing! They came into the hair band game a little late and never really got to be taken seriously. I remember my best friend and I staying up all night to hear the radio play this song because we didn’t know who in the world was singing it and we didn’t know the name of it. So yeah, they got into the game a little late and are very underrated.Jani Lane died in the tragic way that most rock stars do and we lost him some years back. Rest in peace Jani Lane.
Warrant were top dogs along with Poison, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi. Their concerts were AMAZING! I Saw Red was another great Ballad and my fave. For a fun one try Cherry Pie
"Sometimes she dries" "Uncle Tom's Cabin" "Down Boys" are very good songs by Warrant. They gained success in 1989 so hair metal would only stick around till 1991-92 Like all the other hair bands at the time. They had to put out a rock ballad for radio air play,MTV video rotation, record sales,& to bring women to their concerts
I saw Warrant many times in concert from large arenas to dive bars and every show was fantastic! Jani was an incredible front man. He wrote the majority of Warrant's songs for the first few albums. I wish he were still here. I would love to hear the songs he still had left to write. I love his song Stronger Now and his daughter did a video of her singing it years later. Being twins it would be fun to see you react to the Nelson twins. They had a hair band back in the day. They had some very talented musicians playing with them. One of the most talented was their keyboard player Paul Mirkovich. He went on to play for Cher and Pink. He's now the musical director and keyboard player for The Voice. Here's the video of them playing Love and Affection. My son was a big fan and took him to their show a couple of times. ruclips.net/video/x1W6-ErrHls/видео.htmlsi=2-bLcNQ3xzBYsPr6
RIP Janie! Good song. The power ballad was always a big hit. Made girls swoon and guys could say they liked it because the band was rock...lol. But power ballads could be sappy and contrived. Warrant did well with this one. Check out "Down Boys". Warrant was not as big as Motley Crue, Poison or Def Leppard. Usually would be an opener for bands like Crue and Poison. They did headline a tour, which did okay but they never really made it to the level of those others. Two big albums with videos that drove them high on the charts - DIRTY, ROTTEN, FILTHY, STINKING RICH and CHERRY PIE. After those the 90's came calling and they fell apart. Janie Lane left the band and it never was able to capture the same level of excitement. Check out - "Down Boys", "Cherry Pie", "I Saw Red"
I saw them twice, with Poison, and Kiss. Got to meet Jani back stage. I’m from Montana, and ALOT of country bands roll through here. But my cousin knew a “Roadie” from “ Poison”. We got backstage passes. And that man took the time to sign EVERY AUTOGRAPH, and sat down with us just to find out what Rocking in a State like Montana meant to him. Talked to us like we were one of his band mates. Nicest frontman I’ve ever met. RIP Jani!!
Warrant has a lot of great songs like "Blind Faith", "Down Boys", "32 Pennies", "Stronger Now", Machine Gun", "I Saw Red", "Sometimes She Cries". Jani Lane was an Incredibly Talented Lyricist, Singer, Musician. We lost him way too soon. I feel he had so much more to offer the world in many ways. I wish he were here so we could see what he would have done. I miss him a lot. RIP Jani.
My all time favorite band. Jani Lane loved his fans and he loved hanging out with them after their shows. I've actually got a pretty decent collection of his things.
You guys are the best. I'm an Identical Twin, My Dad was an Identical Twin, And I have Identical Twin Cousins. I've seen Warrant a few times back in the late 80's/90's fun times.
Also warrant had a lot of success in the late 80s early 90s. After their album Dog Eat Dog is when they kind of died out bc of grunge sadly. If they made it big in the early 80s they would of been much bigger
I don't think so. He's got a picture of her house (not his). It's a song about young adults in love. How I love the way you move? Wrapping his arms around her as she sleeps? That's a lover, not a daughter. Her friends don't like him and say they won't make it.
We try to compare things to heaven, usually things that leave us with a good, sweet, peaceful memory; but, as you boys know, NOTHING compares to the real heaven.
Warren was a fantastic band back in the mid 80s. They were more glam than they were hard rock but they were higher energy. Their biggest competition would’ve been poison. They have a bunch of songs that were amazing none of them Heavy Metal but all of them catchy fun about love girls And happiness lead singer unfortunately took his own life a few blocks somewhere where I live in a lonely hotel room and even though I’m not a musician, I am a professional artist, and I understand how your emotions, anxiety, depression, and much much more can overcome you it’s also how you can make amazing art Like so many of our best musicians too do I just joined your channel I don’t know if you’re going to do more things. I’m gonna check out what it takes to request a song like the Way you guys look at this music so I think would be fun to request some stuff
Uncle Tom's Cabin is a must along with all the others listed. Jani gets such a bad rap. One of the greatest writers and performers from this era but get blamed for its fall. to the point he drank himself to death. Bitter Pill is also a GREAT song that was released after their time had passed, but still the acoustic version with just Jani is amazing.
Saw them twice in concert. They were mid tier. Two huge albums then they sort of fell off when grunge came out. Very solid in concert. Sort of in the vein of Poison.
Warrant maybe wasn't as big as the bands you listed BUT they only had 2 albums before this genre collapsed.. they still had 9 top 40 songs if i recall correctly..i saw them 11 times with Jani and wont see them again unless they get a singer closer to jani.. vocally.. the current singer was okay but he's not good at all now..
80’s were the best . Nothing like it ever again 😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
I saw Warrant with Poison , and I think it was in 85. It was so awesome.
I was 15 yrs old at this time.I love to watch the young listen to actual music from my gen

I saw them and Poison in concert and was the greatest concert i have ever been to.
Just reacted to Poison for the first time! Check it out!
Janie Lane song writing was so underrated , songs like Uncle Toms Cabin, Sometimes She Cries, Blind Faith a great Warrant songs
April 2031..add that
Warrant were top dogs along with Poison, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi. Their concerts were AMAZING! I Saw Red was another great Ballad and my fave. For a fun one try Cherry Pie

Great song
Favorite warrant song blind faith

I saw them in Concert back in 91..amazing! I met Jani and Jerry , both very sweet, humble, kinda shy. Check out their album Dog Eat Dog, it's amazing!
Warrant all the guys are still so down to earth. They realize without the fans- they wouldn't have the sucess
Please react to their song I Saw Red or Blind Faith. Great reaction!! 🙂
In my Top 5 of 80's power ballad
My all time favorite band. Jani Lane loved his fans and he loved hanging out with them after their shows. I've actually got a pretty decent collection of his things.

Rock concerts were just huge in general.
Do Transgressor by Stryper
Love it!!!

Motley was probably #1 in big hair bands, but Warrant was definitely top 10.
I don't even really like Warrant, however, this song is awesome. Classic
When you are older you will realize most all the lyrics describe a fathers love for his daughter.
I don't think so.
He's got a picture of her house (not his).
It's a song about young adults in love.
How I love the way you move?
Wrapping his arms around her as she sleeps?
That's a lover, not a daughter.
Her friends don't like him and say they won't make it.

I would also check out Mr. Rainmaker and Song and Dance Man off the Cherry Pie album
‘Heaven’ is my fave song! And ‘Bed of Roses’ is really good 🤘 Of course ‘Cherry Pie’🎶
10 times Jani was a great person met him talked to him for 4hrs one day in 91 in LA
They were all nice especially Jani.
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song is so good!and I did a cover of it recently too!
I saw them in 1991 with Poison
Fire!!!!
I Saw Red, Cherry Pie and Down Boys are also worthy
I would put Jani Lane up against anybody from those days. He was such a great talent
Seen them unfortunately it was after. Jani lane passed but Robert Mason did the vocals justice
🤘😎🤘
you guys have great hair. bring back hair bands.
Fire!

yep about the same as; maybe a little lesser.
You should look up April 2031 from warrant.. such a great possibly prophetic song.. none the less it's a great song
