Picked this up this week in 2020 for one of my kids! The eyes are absolutely fine and different to this version - painted like the original. Makes a massive difference.
This matches the Voyager weapon wise. Voyagers are small too
I think you're being a little too hard on this Over-sized Optimus Prime. I wouldn't worry about how he compares to those other Primes. This Over-sized Optimus Prime is the same size as the Hasbro Leader Class Megatron; which is perfect because I believe the Hasbro Leader Class of Optimus Prime for these last 2 movies is a failed mold. That one had a huge backpack and shoulder armor, and a long skirt that was just in the way, and overall was just a big hunk of junk! Having this Over-Sized Optimus Prime will be perfect for shelf display with Hasbro The Last Knight Megatron, both being 8 & 1/2 inches in height. Plus this size is perfect, because all of the newer Hasbro toys are smaller than the first trilogy, so this model would scale perfectly with the rest of the collection.

Strange bootleg... I they didn't even paint up the wheel rims, plus where it really needs paint is the head. And as you say, the eyes are horrible. What it is also crying out for is a wrist swivel. It looks a pretty pointless size! It doesn't look that much bigger than the original! The original is a great figure, think ill wait for the rumoured Wei Jiang version.

Honestly the truck form is better than the robot form. I think more detailed painting could have fixed the robot form. Details aside the construction feels cheep-ish. When rotating things for the transformation the pieces can pop out of place. Once this happens then they won't hold in place with weight on them especially the arms. I paid 40.00 for it and it almost seems too much. I am not saying it's a outright bad knock off though. I'd say 6.5 out of 10 considering it's a knock off and a big size.
I think them eyes could use some liner, like black and maybe the inside as is? could give them a better feel?
He's probly only scaled to the lk leader megatron. Which would be perfect.

This is something black Apple should rework for weijiang. This(in the movie not the toy) had my favorite prime headsculpt out of all of the movies but my least favorite everything else out of all of the on screen versions.
Of this is Leader Class Sized Scaled, makes me think.....Hasbro, they could've made a new Leader Class Optimus Prime just like this one....
What a missed opportunity. They really should have added wrist and ankle articulation, plus an extra hinge or two for the kibble to fold away a little more. That's really all they had to do but instead the sword doesn't even fit in the hand :P
I saw one up for pre order. However the one difference was no flames on the chest. So does black mamba actually have the flames??? I hope so.

I'm digging the weapon storage. If they had managed to have this sort of undercarriage weapon storage for the challenger....it would have really been a perfect toy.
I'm guessing that maybe the official black mamba will have underneath weapon storage...instead of having the weapons blatantly visible in truck mode.

Yea I think its cool as leaderclass. I regret getting the kbbad31L. Vehicle scale wld be better but the voyager scale bot mode is more important imo. Based on mold do you prefer this or Takara Ad31?

I just bought a similar version to this, it has some tight joints and a couple truck mode tabs that dont tab in well but overall in Robot mode I am super happy with him and he scales much better with other autobots from Tlk and I already have the Leader class so I dont bother transforming this version I just display the leader in alt mode and finally the paint feels much more premium and my weapons are scaled to fit him.

@@7oclock Actually is pretty damn great. He's basically a modern leader class and he fits in scale a lot better than the normal Voyager would have. The flames REALLY help it. If you want me to send the link to it, just ask cause it didn't take long for mine to ship either.
