Eventually he came around and saw Phil for what he actually were. A family-loving, perfect dad. Jay learnt a lot from his son-in-law too.

He was married as soon as he got out of college(granted they wrote him like that so they could have young parents and a teenage daughter in a show about family). Phil is charming and charismatic. He is slightly nerdy but attracts women despite that, sometimes without even trying. Michael on the other hand has to try very hard and even then has success very rarely.
