In this video I am going to talk about my interview experience with Amazon for Cloud Support Engineer role, which I gave about 15 days back, I am still yet to complete my whole interview process, 3 rounds left.

First Technical Interview round questions which were asked to me --
1. what happens in the backend when u type amazon.com (explain DNS Process)
2. explain different types of DNS Queries
3. iterative and recursive DNS queries
4. explain after the browser has got IP address how it loads the website, on protocol basis
5. 3-way TCP handshake process
6. can you tell me how seq number work in TCP handshake
7. what is https , how is it different from http
8. explain SSL/TLS handshake process
9. you have setup your website with https, after too many redirects errors are happening, what would cause this?
10. the website is working fine, but now its running slow, how to troubleshoot
11. CDN (content delivery networks), how it works? how it ensures the website is not slow
12. trace route, to amazon.com and explain the fields that come up in output
13. which protocol is used in traceroute
14. suppose if a website is loading slow, is there anything which can be checked with the browser
15. suppose if i have a server not using any CDN, is there anyway the servers can control the amount of the content is cached by the browser
16. suppose if your laptop is in private network, any way it can connect to internet? (NAT process)
17. explain types of NAT?
18. how can one server serve https request for two domains?
19. can you tell me how does my laptop when it is connected to a IP, and when I go to office and it gets a diff IP ,how does a laptop connect to a new network? (DHCP DORA process)
20. can you explain how do machines in a switch network communicate
21. can you explain the difference between dynamic and static web content?
22. suppose I have multiple servers which are serving content, now I want to make sure a particular server does not get overloaded with requests, is there any software which can be used?
23. so i have created DNS record, but the value is not resolving as expected what could be the possible reasons?
24. how ARP works?
25. tell me about a situation in your current role where you had to dive deep.

Hi, don't worry, Online Assessment is not proctored, but it is very long, just have patience and finish it off in one go.

Then start getting into AWS, learn about the different services it offers and how the services work.

Brother how long does it takes to get a mail after finishing the assessment, It’s been 3 days since I finished my assessment after completing the assessment I got this mail
“Thank you for taking the time to complete our assessment. This email serves as a confirmation that your assessment was successfully submitted. You will be contacted in the event we decide to move forward with your application”
Beside’s this haven’t received any

Hi, Can you confirm if there was any Coding and System design round involved for AWS Support Engineer interview?
Nope, no coding/system design questions are asked for this role
For this whats the assessment test taken. And help to clear the assessment for this role
a work simulation kind of quiz is there, and some MCQ questions based on linux and networking

Scenario based questions are verbal or MCQ ?
in the online assessment? you have to prioritize things according to the given scenario

What is the difference between cloud support associate and cloud support engineer are both same or different
They are different bro, associate role is for freshers (people with 0-2 years of experience)
And Engineer role is for more experienced people (3-5 years)
