Greetings Dr Vicki Johnson. Just stumbling on Profellow after much online search for a guide towards actualisation of my continuous academic and professional development. By God's grace, your wealth of experience and guidance will make my dream come true. It's nice meeting you.
OMG! This is super amazing. I am currently doing a Teaching Fellowship with Teach For Nigeria and plan to go on to at least 3 other international Fellowships after this. This webinar just came in really handy and at the right time. Thank you so much, Vicki for this and for creating Profellow. I am now your biggest fan ever.
Thank you Dr Viccy.. I would like to do postdoc in computer science and engineering. Could you please suggest me some links to apply in USA, CANADA, GERMANY
Hello Dr. Vicki Johnson. First I want to thank you for the wonderful work in organizing fellowships and for the ease of advanced search. I am currently looking for a fellowship or training in any field for a short period in any European country so that it covers the visa and the trip without conditions since I am from Yemen. Can this type of opportunity be found in your website? Thank you in advance !
Hello Anwar! Thank you so much for your kind words, it is much appreciated. We have a wide variety of fully funded fellowships available on our database that cover the cost of attending the program. That being said, the specifics of what they cover, ie. visas, will differ from program to program, we encourage you to take a look at the database, filter by citizenship, and put Yemen, and see what opportunities come up! From there you can start to take a look at their specific requirements and benefits. I hope this helps!
Hi Sirius, great question! Yes, there is not as much funding for master's study since most funding is offered to students who are doing research (e.g. PhD students). However, to find master's programs that may offer funding, look for research-based programs that offer Assistantships. These are part-time research and teaching positions exclusively for graduate students that provide a partial or full tuition scholarship and stipend.
I have joined as a remote mode PhD project in an UK university in Mathematics. But I have to visit the university every year for short-term visit. Can you suggest how to get short-term research visit fund for accommodation or research internship which bears accommodation costs during my short-term visit every year to my host university ?
It will be difficult to find funding outside the university just to fund your travel. Is the PhD project funded by the university? They would be the best source of a grant for travel. You should speak to your PhD supervisor and the Department head about this!
@@learningliv , thanks. No as it was not funded PhD position. I have talked about it with supervisor and he will try to convince the university regarding accommodation during my short visit. But that may be a negative result. I am just seeking short term accommodation during my visit not seeking travel grant for now

Hi Vicki, thanks a lot for this. I've noticed there aren't so many fellowships for Masters study in the US. Is this right, or am I searching wrongly?
